I was just watching the 2005 Hall of Fame Induction ceremony and I loved Jimmy Hart's acceptance speech (especially when he thanked Kevin Dunn). Anyway, it got me thinking as to what was my favourite HOF speech. There are some really funny ones (Bobby Heenan), some emotional ones (Eddie Guerrero), but in terms of all around greatness I've narrowed it down to Jimmy Hart and Bret Hart.
Oh and the worst ones I saw go to the Iron Shiek and Paul Orndorff.

I liked Nikolai Volkoff's. I almost teared up a bit when he was talking about how he left his country to escape Communism with one suit and $20 in his pocket.

Hulk Hogan. And Piper. Both are my favorites so far.

I really liked Bret Hart's. It was nice to see him put everything aside and share some great stories about Owen.

"I just wish Gorilla was here..." made me shed a tear. Actually he said Monsoon, but its all good. Heenan's 04 HOF speech is definately my favorite. Thats why he's been invited back to induct every year since then.

I liked the super drunk, Teddy loving, Patterson outing Sensational Sherri Martels speech. It was great.

Three that come immediately to mind are Piper's, Bret's, and Sherri's.

Heenan's or Ross'. Both told a story that was endearing, and almost tear-inducing.

Heenan's, Piper's, Mean Gene's, Sherri's, and Bret's. Most of the other ones bored me to tears, especially the Blackjacks.

I respect the Blackjacks, but Lanza is boring and tells crap jokes and stories and Mulligan is a bit full of himself. And anyone notice that at the end of their acceptance speech when Mulligan makes an American Pie reference as the music starts to play you can hear Lanza say something like "Why d'you say that?" and Mulligan says "Had to say it".

My favorite moment was when Heenan may have been inducting someone and said "I was supposed to announce that under one your seats there are 2 tickets ringside for tomorrow......is it April 1st?" and the wrestlers are shown just cracking up.
