I'll never forget that debut. I remember it was in Chicago and the crowd went NUTS. It was one of those moments where I felt the crowd's reaction really made it so much more powerful. I felt that same way when the Rock and Hogan finally stared eye-to-eye for the first time in Chicago and the crowd went from chanting Rocky to Hogan, back to Rocky, then back to Hogan and the two of them just looked around the arena. That was in Toronto. Y'know... WrestleMania? Showcase of the Immortals? Ring a bell? Uhhhhhh noooooooooo. Read it again. It says FIRST TIME they interacted. Never said their actual match at WM. In fact, it was the same night when Hogan and the NWO tried to run over the Rock. It was in Chicago because I was physically present in the area it took place in. Since I never been in Toronto, I know it didn't happen there.

That was awesome. I especially liked Jericho's reaction to the Rock's promo; he looked like he was about to cry.

the part where Jericho says "I took off his mask" after the Rock mentions Juventud is gold.

I was there at the Rosemont when Jericho debuted. Nobody around me knew who the countdown was for. I knew cause I read it on a website dirt sheet but didn't ruin it for anyone. One dude said I was lying and I didn't know who it was. I took a piece of paper and wrote Jerichos name on it and told him to look at it when the debut was over. He did and then looked at me with this facial expression of amazement. It was funny. I just told him "what? you don't have the internet?"
Even knowing it was Jericho. Still one of the best live moments I have ever had. Too bad we'll never have days like that again.
