But if he's the King of Kings, can he also cerebrally assassinate? Because kings have people do the assassination stuff for them, usually. Or even worse.........kings are the kinds of people who GET assassinated.

Motorhead sucks and that song is even lower on the talent scale then their best work (which is still horrible by real metal standards) You must mean the metal standards they set. OOOOOOOOOOk, speak for yourself. Motorhead sucks and are worse then most punk trash bands. I stand by my words.

I don't think that's what Hunter was going for with that nickname, heh. Exactly...it was a dig on Jeff "King of the Mountain" Jarrett.

Why is this a Motorhead discussion anyway? There's no need to actually trash a band like that. Just say you don't like 'em and leave it at that. Anywho, I like the King of Kings name, I don't think it has anything to do with Jesus, and even if it does, I'm not religious, so I don't care. Also, I doubt "The Game" will end as his nickname either. He's a man of many.

To paraphrase Denis Leary (Who I believe was talking about Michael Flatley being the "Lord of the Dance") : "You call yourself the King of Kings? Let me tell you something pal, the last time someone called himself that on THIS Earth, they put his ass up on a cross." Are you saying that we should crucify Triple H? ;D Don't let the Undertaker know!

The King of Kings definitely isn't my favorite trips name (Cerebral Assassin and The Game rank ahead of it, easily), and I much prefer "The Game" or "My Time" to his King of Kings intro. However, it does provide an easy feud with Booker, even though HHH's reign came in 1997.
On a side note, when did HHH get the "King of Kings" moniker? I remember him coming out to a Wrestlemania with a crown but don't know the details.
The King of Kings is associated with Jesus, but not exclusively (e.g. Egyptian pharaohs, at least according to Shelley's "Ozymandias"). Wikipedia lists several other examples for those interested.

I love it cause KoK is a much better song and nickname than The Game Disagree on the song, agree on the name. Jed Shaffer ~I've been waiting 8 years for someone to say, "So, are you Trivial Pursuit or Hungry, Hungry Hippos? Oh, I know--MONOPOLY!"

I think the guy has a God complex. I really do...he books himself so above everything else it gets old. The fact that McMahon and Trips think they are the "ratings saviors" make me really just not want to watch anymore. And I really haven't.

I don't like "The King Of Kings" because it implies that he's Jesus Christ. I don't want to think of Hunter as Jesus. Now, if WWE compared him to Samson, I'd be all for it. Jesus had Long hair Hunter has Long hair. Jesus Had a Beard Hunter has a Beard. Jesus was the Son of God. Hunter is the Son in Law of Vince McMahon (I'm sure that's the same in Vince's mind) ;D The Only real difference is....Jesus Died for our sins.....Would Hunter Job for our sins?
