Damn...RIP. Must be horrible for Taker and Bret Hart. Y'know, I hadn't really connected the Hart part just yet. Wasn't Adams the only one (not counting Neidhart and Davey Boy) who actually quit WWF over Montreal and the following couple of shows?

I cannot believe it. I was and always will be a HUGE Crush fun, especailly "Kona" Crush. He was one of the wrestlers that should've been but never really was. He had the size, the look, the potential, and was fairly over with the fans but never got the push that he truly deserved. You will be truly missed Brian, Rest in Peace and thank you for all these years.

Hold, on. Is Brian Adams the same guy as Brian Lee? Otherwise, how is Taker associated with him?

Wasn't Adams the only one (not counting Neidhart and Davey Boy) who actually quit WWF over Montreal and the following couple of shows? He did, though he was accused by some of only doing it to take advantage of Vince's offer to release those who wished to be released (except Owen, whose request was denied). While his push at WCW sucked, he at least got paid better. I am not saying that was really his motivation for leaving, just that he was accused of doing it for himself instead of for Bret.

Vince gave the locker room the chance to walk out in protest after Montreal, and I believe only Adams did. (Though no one's ever been sure if he did it because he was loyal to Hart or because he just wanted out)

I think Rick Rude walked out as well in protest as I recall.

Some year this has turned out to be. So many wrestler deaths.
I give my condolences and give the man his props for his great, if not spectacular career.

As if yet another guy I grew up watching passing on wasn't enough, now the Nancy Grace show is showing footage from World War III '98 for some unknown reason! Geez, another hero dead and being reminded of one of the worst PPVs of all time (with that bloody stupid NWO Referee angle) all in one day, it's almost too much.
Seriously, loved Brian Adams as Kona Crush, used to use the Cranium Crunch on my brother all the time in our Basement Wrestling Federation. Was markishly heartbroken when he turned heel on Savage.

I wasn't the biggest Crush fan but it really is a shame to loose another wrestler and someone I grow up watching. R.I.P. Brian Adams.

Didn't see this thread because I never really look at stickys and just saw this on WWE. I didn't see him much but this drunk in my town always talks about him and I remember liking Kronik. RIP Brian Adams.
