He was really good friends with Savage, so I'm kinda worried about Macho's well-being right now too...

R.I.P Not to undermine the passing of a great wrestler and man, but this really isn't good for the wrestling business. Something needs to change ASAP. He had not wrestled in over 5 years, Im not saying that its a good thing. He was one of my all time favs. But you can not blame current wrestling stuff for his death.

Kona Crush's Gorilla press, knife-edge thrusts and 360 degree spin onto a backbreaker were all solid moves. A great brawler too. He used to slap around Randy Savage like a cat toying with a mouse. The Kronik were an underrated team, IMHO.
You will be missed, Brian Adams. R.I.P. and thanks for the memories.

There's really nothing left to say. The wrestlers of that generation are paying, unfortunately, for their drug use. Not only drug use, but also the punishment they put their bodies through their careers. And the sad part is, no matter how much this generation's wrestlers break those bad habits, it cannot reverse the fates of the wrestlers of the 80's and early 90's.

it really really stinks. Always liked Crush. But is it wrong that stuff like this no longer surprises me? Everytime I click on a news site I always wonder who is going to be shown as dead.
RIP Brudda.

I never saw much of Crush, except for a bit of his Demolition/ 1994 Crush stuff. I thought he was a decent enough wrestler and had a good look about him. RIP Crush.

Yeah, for the 24-hour news stations to have picked up on Kronus's passing the way they did, trying to tie it all in and keep the Benoit thing afloat, they are REALLY going to hype this one, what with his being much more well known, well-paid, etc., and the fact that it is the next-next one in such short time will just amplify it to insane degrees.
I just want to comment away from my other comments on this and say RIP, that's too bad he died. No one deserves to die young.
But back to the exploitation: I am of two minds about it. I HATE the way any and all news outlets sensationalize and exploit everything, all day, every day. PERIOD. However, anything to bring more light to the problems that are causing these guys to drop at an increased rate over the last ten years is okay with me. Save some of these guys, you know?
And I will close by again saying RIP Crush.

I remember being shocked when he made his debut with Demolition and his taking part in the 2/3 falls match with the Hart Foundation at Summerslam '90.
I remember cheering for him as the orange-wearing good guy, squeezing peoples' heads until they gave up.
I didn't have WWF tv at the time, but I had received a subscription to a wrestling magazine from my cousin, and followed his feud with Randy Savage through its pages. I remember the picture of him bowing to Mr. Fuji's Japanese flag, which was prominently featured in the main article.
I remember him turning up in the nWo, and I always expected more to be done with him in the group.
In all honestly, Kronik was probably my least favorite part of his career, but there's no denying they were over, and could be an effective big man tag team. I think a big reason I never got into them was the "APA ripoff" gimmick they were saddled with.
RIP Big Man. I told my dad this before and immediately after the Benoit thing broke: it's a hell of a time to be a wrestling fan. I never thought I would say that with sadness, let alone say it several times.

My earliest vivid professional wrestling memory involved Crush and Yokozuna beating the living hell out of the Macho Man when Crush turned heel in October of 1993.
I always thought he should have had at least one run with the IC strap. I always wanted a Crush-Razor Ramon feud as a kid.
RIP, and please don't be drug related.

Crap, I'd forgotten until it was mentioned elsewhere he was also the first KISS Demon before they handed the gimmick over to Dale. Never wrestled in the gimmick, just did the debut of it during that KISS live performance.
