Possibly my favorite TV match of the year so far. Very happy for Punk, and it was good to see Morrison remind everyone why he's worth keeping around after this suspension is over. I couldn't have worded it any better

definately one of if not THE greatest free tv matches of the year by far... the near falls at the end were intense. and i too thought morrison was going to win it at least once (when he held the ropes) even though i saw the spoilers... f***ing awesome. cheers!

BTMOTY. Best Title Match of the Year...or at least SINGLES title. The Ladder match with Londrick and MNM was also good. I believe that match was December of 2006.

Please don't let Morrison be one of the suspended guys. Jeff Hardy has nothing on some of the crazy spots Morrison does. And Morrison is actually good on the mic.

That was a great match...seriously one of the best of the year...but you're fooling yourself if you think that crowd wasn't sweetened. Maybe not. This time, ECW went before Smackdown, so we didn't get their dead crowd that falls asleep after Hardy's done and Batista starts. Besides, people really do love Punk. This was a great match. I am very glad I didn't, you know, go to sleep like I was supposed to so I could get up early. I'll be tired as hell, but it's worth it.

You have the to admit the WWE added alittle cheering more to the crowd, Not saying alot, Just a little. The matches I put in front of this TV match (not counting PPV matches) are
Edge vs Benoit Edge vs Orton Cena vs Michaels Matt Hardy vs Finley Rated RKO vs The Hardys ( A match overlooked but is was near fall after near fall like Punk/Morrison)

He's probably one of the guys, but it admittedly could be a swerve to make us think he is, to hide who actually is gone.

I too was thinking that was a outstanding match. Too bad the finish was spolied for us.

Let's not overlook how much better Morrison has gotten over the last few months. Im not an avid fan of the guy, but he is coming into his own

I bet if Morrison had won, most people would have just seen the match as beeing mediocre at best...like the other 4 matches...

I bet if Morrison had won, most people would have just seen the match as beeing mediocre at best...like the other 4 matches... But the story behind this one was so much better. I loved how Morrison tried to put away Punk with every finish he had used in the previous matches, but Punk managed to escape each time.

Easy to call it a great match when the internet golden boy wins. Not really, you may think that if you wish, but the other 2 matches on PPV at GAB and Summerslam didn't really have much of a flow and ended rather abruptly, the past 2 TV matches had major crowd heat and seemed to flow better,IMO.

Morrison's ring work is fun to watch, but I still can't get behind his mic work.
But I especially marked for the split-legged corkscrew and the PAY-LAY! THE PAY-LAY! HE HIT IT OUTTA NOWHERE!!
