People laugh at Marella because they want to laugh.
When you watch RAW, you sometimes have to search very hard for bits that can entertain you.
Marella is just slightly less awful than everything else on that show for some people.
I don't mean to put words on anyone's mouth, but that's kind of how I see it.

I did think his whole 'these guys hate puppies and babies' thing was very funny and didn't really have anything to do with the stereotype in fairness. True, but-a when-a it's-a delivered-a like-a this-a, just like EVERY STINKING THING he says, I think any visions of it having nothing to do with stereotypes fly out the window Touche on the accents. And as far as Cookie Monster goes, I'd have immediately disliked the man if he'd insulted Grover.

When Santino's underwater does he get wet? Or does the water get him instead? Nobody knows. Santino Marella.

I posted in another thread how I actually am beginning to enjoy his segments. He definitely is starting to create a pretty amusing persona now that they turned him heel. I wouldn't say I'm a fan of his and that you'll be seeing a picture of him in my sig, but he's not making me want to change the channel when he appears.

If Santino was like Simmons and never wrestled, I would be happy. The character is the second best heel behind Randy Orton right now. I'm not looking forward to Simmons vs Santino whenever it happens though. Maybe he'll surprsie me and carry Simmons to a good match.

Your negativity regarding seemingly everything is tiresome, and predictable. Give it a rest. It's actually really boring. We get it, you don't like anything, which is ironic considering a certain word in your username.

Credit where it's due, whether that's to creative, Santino himself or both; I've got to give kudos all around. After his push really stagnated and we thus far had been given almost no reason to care about him, he gets injured. It woulda been real easy for all parties to just kinda throw up their hands and give up, but I've got to hand it to the guy, he's taken the new lil twist to his character of a semi cowardly almost heel who's kind of a dick and made it really entertaining for the last couple of Raws. Good for him and who else came up with the idea. Glad to see he wasn't left out to dry. Agree with you 100%.... I couldn't stand Santino Marella until these past two weeks. I think his character is great now!

He is comedy GOLD. I would love to see a segment between him and the Rock, but he still sucks in the ring unless he resorts to dirty tactics.

I'm also wondering how the bandwagon jumpers will react when he still sucks when he returns from injury. Rollups a-go-go=5 star match? Some people here will make it so. Yes, it's important to stick to your original opinion, even when presented with new information. It's what makes our country great.

I have a feeling this little gimmick will get old quickly. As humorous as it might be.

I actually LIKED Santino when he was in OWV as Boris, I thought he had the talent. I'm guessing that his talent, for me, really hasn't factored into his wrestling aspect in the WWE yet. But his talking ability and the awesomeness to make me laugh?
Yes, I laugh hard and loud at what he says. People can 'Oh, that is not funny! All he says is stupid crap!'
I really don't care, for me, I find him amazingly hilarious. And his skills in OVW wrestling impressed me.

He won me over during the Dating Game, but before that I was thinking he was not ready for TV yet. He was the most entertaining thing last week and possibly last night as well.

He proved me wrong. I was calling for him to be repackaged in OVW, but they wouldn't give up.
And I'm glad he's still around.
