Recently I came across a gimmicks that didn't last very long, but seemed totally kickass:
Mike Awesome as the Canadian Killer with Team Canada in WCW.
This sounds like the world's most perfect gimmick for Awesome, and really for any big dude with his skill (who was Canadian).
Any other great gimmicks that just didn't last too long?

Lives are gonna be...

I would say that Waylon Mercy worked until Dan Spivey was injured.

Brief Gimmicks? You mean like Shawn Stasiak's outfit when he was Meat?

Abe Schwartz
I mean especially now, he could be all angry for people accusing baseball players of taking steroids.
The irony would be off the charts.

Pirate Burchill. How long was Kai En Tai dubbed for? Kai En Tai was great. And provided the WWE with one of its best shirts too.

Muhammed Hassan was one of the few anti American gimmicks that worked.

Muhammed Hassan was one of the few anti American gimmicks that worked. It's funny, he didn't start out as anti-American, he was an Arab American who felt persecuated against because of what he was. Absolutely brilliant character that was turned into a terrorst, I don't get it.
