What a gem that WWE found in Elijah, who knew that a guy who never really wrestled in the indies, was signed by WWE and had his skills developed in such a way that he puts on great matches consistently
Take that WWE haters!

I don't watch ECW much but what I have seen of Burke makes me like him
Love the cocky "I'm better than you" type star. Great physique and not a bad move set.
Give him some time. He's still a rookie... We can complain AFTER HHH pedigrees him

i also enjoy the punk/burke matches more than the punk/morrison. i really wish morrison would feud with stevie while burke and punk continued a bit more.

I would say that Elijah is in my top 5, much like others. He's just a true natural at everything he does. Aside from his great stage presence, natural athletic ability, and great mic skills, I think his coup de grace would be how he goes about what he does in the ring. He's got some serious potential as far as ring psychology goes.

Elijah is one of my favs right now and he can wrestle very well. I wish I could see him in a match that isn't totally restricted.

ive just realised. the roster looks liek it would of been 8 years ago beore wwe bought it. relativly unknown talented wrestlers about to go on bigger tihngs. think about it: Burke, Punk, Thorne, Richards and Big Daddy V wud of not been out of plac ein original ecw, well clearly not richards he is actually an original

I've liked him since he was with Terkay. I actually think the pair could have gone some place as Terkay was a good intimidating big man. Nice to see how well Elijah's doing though. Deserves to be a future WWE Champion for sure and will probably get there too.

Though I'd imagine he'd be along the lines of Jason, World's sexiest man type of jackass... the laughable "heart throb".

I hate him, he acted like he was going to sign an autograph for me and just dropped my paper on the ground

They need to let Burke get some heat back from Punk if they are to pull-off a good feud. Due to ECW's tiny roster Punk has gone-over Burke several times. Burke needs a legit W on Punk even if it is just in a non-title or tag-match.
Burke has a bright future. He is good in the ring, exceptional for his experience-level. His promos are quality, in terms of being able to succeed on RAW or Smackdown(wrestling entertainment-oriented) I'd say he has more potential than Punk and possibly Morrison.

Burke is great at getting the crowd involved in matches and telling a story; he's great at doing the old Ric Flair "time out", then taking advantage and mocking the face for giving him the breather. He's easily my favorite guy on ECW and in my top 5 wrestling-wise.
