that would just be such a face turn that no one would know what to make of it. i tink it would cause more confusion than anything. i mean, why is cena turning? why is orton all the sudden fighting clean when just a few weeks ago he was kicking cena's dad in the face. Well Cena's character seems to be gradually snappign, so his turning into a psycho, obsessed heel should work... and Orton... well uhh, I dunno... near-death experience maybe? maybe Cena could meet that Spivey guy that Mr. Wonderfull did, lol. i think the psycho cena is great for his face character. adds a whole new deminsion to him. a new found intensity. i just dont think a turn by either of those guys would be a smart move at this moment.

I'm not a big fan of it, sorry. We've already seen one botched Orton face run, lord knows the guy can't afford another or all his momentum is basically killed. I don't think too highly of Randy but he's doing pretty good for himself with this feud with Cena.
Also, as someone else pointed out, it makes zero sense to turn Cena heel on Orton when Orton has been the douche all along. If they really want to turn Cena heel then they need to build up a good program and not do it randomly like you've stated.

Don't be surprised to see Y2J cost Cena the title. Y2J returns as a heel. But of course still gets cheered. "Thank you, Chris! Thank you, Chris! Thank you, Chris!"

Orton can not be a face, he is horrible in that role and is very good as a heel. Now if Cena turns heel everyone will want to cheer him because he will be "cool" again and he really won't be a heel at all.

Giving the title to someone who (allegedly) attempted suicide not too long ago? Great job WWE! You say you don't want any wrestlers dying under your watch, and that you're willing to give treatment to those who need it. Now pushing Orton into a (possible) title reign.... that sounds just great.

Nope. Y2J comes back to face HHH. It's science. Oh dear god, that could get ugly... I mean do you think hunter could check that ego long enough to let Jericho at least look strong? I know he did it for batista, but they're buddies and I'm not sure Jericho and trips be as close. I seriously hope they throw him against Cena in the title picture...But alas, that may actually make since continuity wise and likely won't happen.

As far as a double turn goes, I think WWE missed the boat with that. They could have easily done it at WM 22, and in my opinion should have. I was convinced they were going to, it just made too much sense. Oh wait.... this is WWE we're talking about.

orton has been getting pops simply because cena is becoming played out. people seem to be getting sick of cena more and more. i'm not denying that orton could become a face, pretty easily. however, when you've got an angle that involves orton beating on cena's defenseless father. and then out of nowhere you turn orton face by getting him beaten down by the two men just seeking revenge. just dont think it would work. People aren't getting more and more sick of Cena though, this past Raw was some of the most positive reactions he has gotten in weeks. It just varies from town to town. He got a horrific responce in Italy but that didn't mean he was starting to get 'played out'. He still is hugely over with the crowd, whether positively or negatively.

Cena and Orton are not Bret Hart and Steve Austin.
In order for the E to keep bringing in the green stuff and selling all those replica spinny belts, Cena has to stay a babyface.
It might seem to make sense to bring in Jericho either as a heel or tweener, but the company clearly wants Randy to be a big future star for a long time.
No matter how they bring back Jericho, if Raw is the show he ends up on, his ass is getting buried.

Imagine the Boos he would get if he put the STFU on Jeff Hardy as an paranoid champ. He would get tons of Boos.

I'm still waiting for the day of Cena to finally come into his own. That day won't come until he's given the chance to be a psychotic heel... which is very far away.

Just have Jericho attack both and start a 3-way feud.
Orton=heel and happy that he can take a title and kill a legend at the same time
Jericho=tweener (where he excels) who wants revenge on Cena for costing him his job and gets the support of most fans
Cena=face that has to protect title from both while getting cheered and merchandise bought from the kiddies

Who would win their matches tho? Or would they do the Edge/Cena/HHH thing where each one wins a non-title match? Who would win the title or would Cena retain

Aren't the fans already cheering Orton over Cena to begin, I'm rather certain at Unforgiven and the following nignt on Raw that Orton was getting a more favorable crowd reaction than Cena. It's kinda become a fade to get cheered over Cena when you fued with him, first Jericho, than Angle, then Triple H, then Shawn Michaels and now Randy Orton.
