It's pretty obvious WWE are avoiding to name Benoit on TV. Vince McMahon himself hinted that in his ECW speech the day after the tribute.
I can't blame WWE for that, at all. Maybe, and I say maybe, in some months/years, when the dust has settled, Benoit will be "reinstated" at least in the records. But for now, he's better to be left unnamed.
BTW the "who died and made you champ" Nitro signature is a bit too much IMO...
