But Danielson is like his gimmick. He wrestles his style. How he wants to, where he wants to, when he wants to. He's not going to get a tan to wrestle in one company when every indy company will take him how is currently is.
And now he is making a big name in Japan(NOAH, I believe) so the "never made it past ROH" argument is becoming null and void

That would be the absolute dumbest reason not to go somewhere. But then again..Kazarian left WWE because they told him to cut that generic pony tail. That was stupid on his part for not doing it. Yeah, Kazarian was just dumb for not getting a haircut for what I would assume is a VERY high paying job. He was a moron for that. Danielson... well, it looks like he just doesn't wanna go to McMahonland. I can kind of understand that, all things considered.

Normally, I'll side with the wrestlers against management if something completely ridiculous is asked of them, but a haircut is a completely reasonable request, and he got fired for not doing it, then went ahead and did it anyways 2 or 3 months later. Whatta maroon.

If he ain't on TV how will he ever make money. Dude this is bottom line time and you don't get younger especially when you throw your body down violently 0 times a night, every night. Take the next deal you can get, make some money (real money) tour of Japan money gets you gas money for a 6 month indy road trip. Get your name out there beyond the internet.

eh, he seems to be happy with the money he's making And honestly, as an indy wrestler getting bookings all over the world, not just in America or a portion of it, I'd say he makes pretty damn good money. Not as good as a WWE main eventer, maybe, but I'd bet AmDrag's not starving.

eh, he seems to be happy with the money he's making If he is happy now thats great. I am just being fatalistic and trying to acknowledge the fact that if he continues to just do the indy route until he's 33 he won't have made any money to live on should he need to retire at some point. If he is as good as he is acclaimed here than he should take that wwe or tna contract and the money that goes with it. People just get over sometimes and Vince has to go with it. If he went to E maybe it happens for him

tour of Japan money gets you gas money for a 6 month indy road trip. Get your name out there beyond the internet. I always heard that many Gaijin wrestlers made pretty decent money in Japan for the short tours. I know at one point Stan Hansen (arguably the most popular gaijin of all time) was on par with any of the top stars in america during the 80s and 90s in terms of pay. I honestly do not want to Bryan Danielson in the WWE until he has done everything he can on the independant and international scenes. I am sure hes well paid and is making a solid living for a single 26 year old. I am sure once he has a wife and kids he will need the increased salary and will want the fame some time down the road.

Really, you don't know his personal financial situation, so that's kind of bunk. Really, Danielson gets a lot of international bookings, is never wanting for domestic bookings, and he has some nice paying jobs working as head trainer and other positions for ROH. The guy seems to be doing pretty nicely for himself, all things considered. Doesn't mean this is the most money he can make, but to think that he's risking poverty or something is pretty baseless.

The "you don't get younger" part confuses me. He's 26 years old, that's young. Besides which, if he's 26, with as much experience as he already has (8 years in the business), well liked by people in high places, and wants to finish college before he makes any big decision, I say that's the smartest thing he can do. Japan pays well, and the exposure and experience can only help him even more. Add to that a guy like Regal, who not only knows talent, but has a damn good relationship with WWE and is well thought of, has said in no uncertain terms that he WANTS Danielson there some day, and that's nothing but positives working for him.

I remember listening to an interview where he said he was interested in joining the Peace Corps. at some point in his life before he gets too old.
I'm sure if he ever wants to get a deal with WWE, he'd get one ASAP.

Well Danielson has already lost to Cena, so it seems like he's already gotten the WWE experience! Haha, just kidding.

I'm sure we'll see Bryan Danielson in WWE in about 5 or 6 years.

I'm just going to throw this out there, but going to Japan you make money like gangbusters. I made enough money in two trips to Japan to save enough money up where I was able to quit my day job and just concentrate on wrestling.
Plus, just because he took a TNA contract doesn't mean he would essentially be making more money.

Maybe when Moolah retires, he can take her roster spot.

he seem slike the kind of bloke who would want to be the top guy in every promotion he wrestles for before he leaves them. at the moment, there is alot in indyland that he hasnt conquered, and if he is pretty much guaranteed a job in wwe if he wants it in the future, can you blame him for wanting to finish the job of being the greatest wrestler in the indies.
and for those of you saying he should take the job while he's still young, you do realize that superman never ages, dont you?
