So if they are going to use them they may have used them the right way...
Steiner is from where...?
Animal's kid plays where...?
Seems like a natural turn and feud to me. So simple. I mean if you are going to use Frank Wycheck why not take it another step and throw a couple of jersey's on Rick and Animal for the next PPV and let them go at it...
The TNA fans seem to love these two I don't know why...so this seems like a logical storyline to me.

Nope, not a fan of football, especially college-type football.
So yeah, I still don't get it.
I think it would be weird for two legends to be wearing football jerseys for no reason.

It's not for no reason. Try to follow. Steiner is from (say it with me...) MICHIGAN! Animals son is from (as the guy with the sweet Jericho sig said) OHIO STATE... They have arguably the biggest rivalry in all of sports... that's why.

Why would they wear the jerseys though? I get that one could turn on the other cause of this stupid football thing, but why would they both wear the jerseys, agree to team while wearing the jerseys, and THEN turn? That just doesn't make sense.

So, let me get this straight.
Instead of just having a one-time thing to replace Steiner, you wish for these guys to turn on each other in the match feud for a month till the next PPV. This, coming from the guy who seems to write a thread almost every week about how he hates seeing ex-WWE/WCW guys on TV, and wants to see a bunch of "originals"?
What?!

Ah, ok, then yeah it would sort of make sense. It would still be pretty stupid for a couple 40/50 year old men to be bitter over college football.
Also, that would be one horrible match the next month.

How would that be the RIGHT WAY though?
They were only using Rick Steiner because they wanted to use the STEINER BROTHERS.
That fell through and they had to go to an emergency replacement for Scott. Someone who they very likely would not use again. Hell with Scott Steiner out for the rest of the year, they probably aren't going to use Rick again.
I think a one off is much more the "right way" than making them both regular members of the roster, even for just one more month.

God, I just got deja vu.
Look, how is building a feud between 2 guys who aren't on the roster and would probably have a bad match a better idea than just having a one time thing to soften a blow to the PPV and leave it at that?
And, from the cracks about Michigan, I think you're from Ohio?

Ok number one it says right in my sig that I'm from Detroit, MI.
My point is...if you are going to use these bums and all the TNA fans here are supporting the use of these bums, there is a simple and effective story-line here for them.
I'm not calling it...calling for it...don't want to see it. Just saying it's right there in front of thier faces if they wanted to do it. If this was a one time thing great. Thank God. But if it's not and I doubt it is then this is an easy way to put these guys into a program.
I think you know this you are just being argumentative and making it a TNA vs. WWE thing which it's not.

TNA uses mystery opponents as one offs quite often (X-Pac, Heart Throbs, Kanyon, among others in the past year or so).
I guess it is possible Rick could stick around, but very very unlikely. Scott's injury is very serious, he'll be gone for a while. So they can't just have Rick stick around an shuffle through a few partners until Scott is ready to return.
I can't imagine they'd keep Animal and Rick on as a regular team, as they got beaten pretty easially. And if they do stick around, I wouldn't be surprised to see them feud much like what you're saying, but with the LOD and Steiners "legacy" being the main point, and perhaps the College Football thing just brought up as an added insult.

Ok, When the hell did I mention WWE at all during my posts in this thread, or anyone else for that matter? I'm just confused since you seem to make no sense, just deciding to throw in some cracks about Michigan state at people.

I'm sorry I am at work and flying around this board and got this thread and the rate the TNA show mixed. My bad...I'm at work so it's hard for me to multi-task. So I take that part back. I am from Michigan and anyone in MI knows MSU is full of retards (I went there for one year and had to transfer it was horrible). I just made those jokes for the sports fans reading here I don't really think you went to State.
