An often debated thing between me and some people I know is, well, just WHAT IS that noise in the opening part of Razor Ramon's theme?
I always thought it was like, a breeze or something, as y'know, Razor was supposed to be "cool", and well, a breeze is cool I guess, so it could make sense, right?
I can see where others might think of it as tires screeching, but that doesn't make a lot of sense with that character.
I've heard it called a lot of things, so once and for all, here's this poll to end the confusion.
WHAT IS THAT SOUND?

Seems to me Void like it was a car wreck. My memory could be faulty though. Tires screeching and a crash noise.

See, I never heard the crash part somehow, maybe I just had a bad audio file.

Razor vs. Diesel at SS '94 for the IC strap www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2EzgBMCeLkI don't hear a wreck noise either but that's how I remember it. It definently seems like tires screeching though.

scottramon.ytmnd.com/That's got the theme music playing... It's tires screeching, almost like somebody was taking a crazy hard turn... Also, a friend told me I was crazy about this, but I always thought Stone Cold's theme was Ramon's just made harder... evolutionofstonecold.ytmnd.com/

Austin's theme did sound a lot like Hall's, true.
I figured it was tires screeching. Man, Hall had such an awesome theme.

Didn't Jim Johnson design all themes back then?

Didn't Jim Johnson design all themes back then? I think so, but Jimmy Hart might of still been around, and he did some.

No. Actually I dunno, since themes back then tended to be so literal towards the character, I just wouldn't have thought that would be what that sound was. Maybe Sparky Thurman Plugg, but not Razor Ramon.
