He could do some very impressive stuff for a guy his soze. He will be missed. Does anyone know anything about his relatuonship with Saturn? I read that the two had grown a part over the years. I always read that Saturn couldn't stand Kronus during at least their last year in ECW. well since he had the knee replacement done do think he could of had something happen to him similar to Chris Candido? That's what I thought when I saw the article. It very well could have been complications from surgery.

That is sad I enjoyed John Kronus' work in ECW when him and Perry Saturn were the Eliminators and later when he teamed with New Jack.
Thanks for the memories R.I.P.

Back when Saturn had his own website, he criticized Kronus for getting out of shape and basically ruled out ever working with him again. Saturn's site is gone now, but this was some time before he left for the WWF. Anyway, RIP Kronus. While he only had a few good years, he had more great matches in them than most wrestlers have in their whole careers.

Wasn't he one half of High Voltage? No. To the best of my knowledge, he never wrestled for WCW.

RIP John Kronus. Total Elimination ruled & The Eliminators will never be forgotten.
*here's to hoping this won't come about as an overdose of the "s" word that the news blames everything in wrestling on
**someone mentioned they were thinking about an Eliminators reunion....I thought Saturn couldn't wrestle anymore?
***'07 is a bad year to be a wrestling fan and we are just over half way through it. The worst part of it all is I used to be surprised and really upset when wrestlers passed away regardless of how they went. Now it's to the point of..."oh, another one has died" its not even surprising anymore and happens every few weeks it seems.

I feel really sorry for the loss, though I never had the chance to see the man go on the mat.

I was just thinking about WWE needing Tag Teams, I watched Rise and Fall this past weekend and thought about how great it would be to have the Eliminators just wreck through people.
If he could have kept himself in shape he could have made a run at the big 2 when Saturn did.
Too bad

If he could have kept himself in shape he could have made a run at the big 2 when Saturn did. Too bad With no disrespect meant, Saturn had already ditched him because he felt Kronus didn't take it seriously enough. To be fair, it was probably the best choice for Saturn. It's too bad, the loss. We all die someday, but it's yet another early death.

Wasn't just keeping in shape. Guy had some major demons. Just one of those sad situations that, you knew it was going to be sooner than later.

In one of the most surrell things I've seen lately...
I just saw New Jack discussing Kronus's death on Nancy Grace.
RIP Kronus. I hope your death doesn't become another media circus.

I just YouTubed and DailyMotioned "The Eliminators" and realized how fleeting greatness can be. I also dug up an old school clip (with Lawler, Scott Bowden, Sid & The Eliminators from the USWA, which was pretty scary). I'll always have the memories of Kronus, he did his job well and I'll always respect and appreciate it. You will did, well....George, Rest in peace!.

Is it just me or did New Jack seem...well, not like New Jack? Maybe it was the glasses.
