Probably when Terry Funk and The Great Muta teamed to take out Sting and Flair.

Definitely Ric Flair circa 1985 On an unrelated note, I've never hated a heel like I hated Steven Richards of RTC. He certainly did his job well, since I wanted to split his head open with a golf club. That reminds me. I used to enjoy pissing off my friends by rooting for Steven Richards and acting like I agreed with everything he said. I even used RTC's music for my Created Wrestler in No Mercy.

I can enjoy him now, but I was a young mark at the time, like 12 or 13.

never marked for a heel until I saw CM Punk. I was always hating most heels because that is their job but Punk made me mark and hate him at the same time.

DiBiase and Savage were my #1 and #2 favorites, respectively, when I first started watching.

I think it might have been Mr Perfect. I was a pretty big marky mark for Trips and his snobby bow he did in his WCW and early WWE days.

The Powers of Pain. The first PPV I saw on video was Summerslam '88 when I was about 9 and I thought they were absolutely freakin' awesome. So what happens come Survivor Series - you guessed it, they turned them heel. I just thought "sod it, I still like these guys" - it used to piss off my friends no end when I'd cheer for them instead of Demolition. I always used to like Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and the Honky Tonk man before they became (shudder) Rhythm & Blues plus pretty much any wrestler managed by Slick.
