So with no real announcement on who is getting the title shot, how do you think they handle this?
Dream: Y2J returns and gets put into the match, winning the belt his first day back.
only to job it to Trips the next night on Raw lol

I didn't even know Neidhart was coming back, it's about time they gave him a run with the belt.
Sorry, I just figured I'd get that out of the way so the thread could move along

interesting wording on WWE.com
Cena’s injury represents a new opportunity for several WWE Superstars. Orton has shown that he will do anything for the WWE Championship. Mr. Kennedy has long said that he is the future of WWE and believes he has a point to prove. And what about Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy, who has received very few WWE Championship opportunities in his career? Or does Cena’s injury represent a new opportunity for a Superstar who is not a member of the Raw locker room?

I hope the spinner belt is Cena's property and it has to leave for 8 months as well.

Orton for the win, he'll hold it until the Royal Rumble where he'll drop it to Triple H, who will then hold it until the world ends...
I'll have to check out the latest World Weekly News to figure out when that will be.

Randy Orton. They'll save Triple's next big win for WrestleMania.

I really want it to be Orton but i reckon another face will have the belt by nights end, possibly someone from Smackdown.

Why not do a six pack match with Orton vs. HHH vs. Umaga vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Carlito vs. Mystery opponent(maybe Jericho or Undertaker)?
Or maybe a 20-30 man battle royale for the vacant title thats open for anyone to win it.

How healed is the ultimate opportunist Edge?

I can't really see the Undertaker coming over from Smackdown, just when it looks like the Blue Brand is getting some of it's star power back. What are we going to do with main events on there is so? Batista/Khali for another 2 months until Edge is back?
I hope it's Orton. I feel him as heel champ will work, but if he does hold it a spinner belt will look ridiculous on him so it needs to be changed.
