So, why is CM Punk not included in the new season mode? Something about "No Voiceover" Translation: THQ lied to us again, are you really surprised? The sad thing is it doesnt suprise me in the slightest. When are THQ going to realise that one of the main selling points of there games every year is the oppurtunity to play as new wrestlers, such as Punk or MVP?

This is the first SmackDown! I ever seriously considered NOT buying. It helps that my 360 is broken too, but they really seem like they don't care about putting a good game out anymore.

Eh, I don't think you'll be missing much. Wait until you can get it used. And with what I've seen about the game, I get the feeling it won't be hard to find.

I just had an AMAZING Triple Threat match on 06. Shelton (me) vs. HHH vs. Sabu for the IC title. 18 minutes of craziness. A great spot happened on the outside, I reversed one of HHH's ground grapples and low blowed him, then Sabu jumped over me and gave him a Spinning Wheel Kick while he was still standing. I thought it was a cool spot at least.

My best were a US Title one with JBl vs Haas vs a Nova CAW, which was so good I rematched it and it was equally great, and a WWE Title 6-way HIAC contender's match of Shelton vs RVD vs (I think) Foley. Actually, the 2nd one was on 07, but still, 06 had great multi mans. I once had an excellent 6-way elimination for the CW title of London vs Rey vs Ultimo Dragon vs Dynamite Kid vs Hayabusa vs Tajiri, that was again good enough to warant a rematch.

Man everytime THQ puts something neat in their games i`m happy and then they are making something bad which wants me to torture them by forcing them to watch every Jim Duggan match ever in history

Especially if you get into his Mid-South/UWF stuff.

Ya know, I've gotta confess to something....
When I get my copy of each year's SD game, I always find myself tweaking the movesets to eliminate the moves THQ gives certain guys who have NEVER performed them.
This might be the first year I probably junk MOST of one wrestler's moves: I would really like to switch up some of Punk's moveset to give him the ROH style I really prefer. Granted, I'll know more once I've actually looked at what Punk does but watching him in ROH and watching him in ECW, I'm not as big a fine of the martial arts-based moves in ECW as some of his more technical work in ROH.
There we go, that's my take.

However, I have to reason to suspect they would. Thinking they would randomly change something like that without anything seems a TAD irrational, don't you think? Before you say so much as a word, yes, I'm fully aware they've made random changes like that before. But in an interwebz rampant with irrational, random speculation 90% of the time, I'm cool with avoiding it, thanks all the same.
