The Brainchop is the world's worst finisher. I think even WWE Creative must have realized this.

I was never a big fan of the airplane spin, someone use to use it in the 80s and I can't remember who now and wasn't one of Eugene's finishers?

Crush's "Heart Punch" from the late 90's.
Putting his opponents arm behind their head and then punching them in the chest is all kinds of lame.

Snitsky's pump handle gets crapped on a lot, I don't like it either, but at least he's been delivering it with some speed/force lately. I VASTLY prefer the wheelbarrow suplex he used as his finish when tagging with Goldust.
As for the worst current finisher, its the Eljiah Express/Experience/Whatever the crappy name for it is.....obviously the FU, a standing fireman's carry is not a finisher. Maybe in the 80's. Not today.

The Worm : Weeeell, now that my opponent is lying unconscious on the ground for 30 seconds, what will I do ? Pin him to get the victory ? Nah, let' s just dance around on one foot like an idiot, the do a worm for no reason, then dance some more THEN give little slap which is more likely to wake up my opponent than to knock him out.
The Cranium Crush : Basically, shake your opponent' s head... 'kaaaay...
The Overdrive.
The Complete Shot.
Also, how comes when a wrestler uses the Overdrive as a finisher, they almost ALWAYS use the Complete Shot as a secondary finisher and vice-versa ?? Is there some kind of unwritten law forcing this ?

I think the Rock Bottom's power is supposed to come from the fact that your being driven into the mat by your opponent. People's Elbow anyone? I really do dislike simple moves trying to be elaborate: Ballin, 5 Knuckle Shuffle, The Worm Those are absolutely horrible. Don't forget Hogan's leg drop. Remeber when someone used to get DDT'ed and they sold like they were dead. Now. for most of the guys, it's a set up move.

The People's Elbow was the lamest finisher in the history of all finishers. Only Hogan's leg drop came close as a runner up in this category. The Mandilbe Claw/Mr. Socko gets an honorable mention as well. Let's not forget the W-0-R-M either.
I mean, come on! An elbow drop? A leg drop? Inducing vomiting? Blocking any of those moves as finishers is simple. Roll out of the way. Kick him in the nads. Do anything, but get out of the way, and presto! You're safe!
Lame and lamer.

See, I never imagined the People's Elbow to be a move that he has to hit to seal victory like Hogan's Atomic Legdrop, more like the ultimate insult- which fit Rock's character, of course.
But I guess there are some wrestlers I watch for some semblance of realism, and others I don't.

One of the ones I think is the lamest, despite how people sell it.... the Rock Bottom. They essentially just jump up, then fall on their back. How is that more devastating than a bodyslam or back body drop? Worst thing about the rock bottom was unlike most uranages, they often didn't even jump up much. Usually folks sell a uranage by jumping up to a reasonable height, like they're selling a chokeslam. Against the Rock they often barely hopped off the ground in main event matches, making the move look weaker.

Current? The Samoan Spike, no contest.
Ever? Hogan's leg drop.
