We all know that WWE is going to call it a "rousing success".

I think her terrible "sad" acting when she introduced Hornswoggle on Raw this week convinced millions of potential buyers not to buy the CD. Seriously, it's not your job to care about the wrestlers, just to introduce them!

The album actually ranked number two on the "Ring Announcer" chart, just under Michael Buffer's "Let's Get Ready To Make Sweet Love".

Sold more than be a man by Macho. Whoa, that sold 3,750 copies (I checked from Wikipedia)? I always though that it was bought by a total of two people, those two being RD and I-Mockery's RoG.

The World Champion couldn't make a successful album, surely the ring announcer could?? Didn't Cena sell more than 3800 copies though? And yeah I doubt people were falling over themselves trying to find the album of the ring announcer. i'm ALMOST positive that cena's album went gold (500,000)...not the first week, but overall. debuted in the top 20 on the 200 billboard the first week though

She sang in Spanish. What did you expect? Shakira's album was in Spanish before it was released in English but that didn't bomb. So, yeah...no excuses, really. hell 50 years ago when America was ridiculously more intolerant of foreigners some Japanese dude sang sukiyaki completely in Japanese and it made it to no. 1. Besides have you even heard the radio today, most of the popular singers out there throw some spanish in there and it gets over. Frankie J singing More than words for example.

*sigh*
Her album is doing just fine.
She's not a mainstream singer.
It did not bomb.

*sigh* Her album is doing just fine. She's not a mainstream singer. It did not bomb. Well, depends really, I mean she had her album plugged on a national cable TV show that is seen by millions each week, but yet couldn't even get 5,000 buys. It sounds like it did bad so far to me.

It was mentioned liek twice, and one was just in passing by Jillian during her Brooke Hogan Gimmick.

It's too bad, but who here really cares about Lillian or her singing?
I wouldn't kick her out for farting, but she's not as great to look at as some of the other WWE female talent, her singing doesn't seem like anything special, and the bottom line is: Who really pays attention to her? Other than maybe when she botches a guy's name ("Shawn Cena," etc.)?

Her performance on RAW was terrible. The dubbed in background vocals didn't help. Halfway through I started wondering if she was lip syncing and/or her backing band was not actually playing the music.

This is why you shouldn't let WWE promote your non-wrestling stuff for you. Anybody remember when heels praised K-fed's album? www.wwe.com/shows/raw/archive/10232006/articles/superstarsonkfedAll those sayings that it is a revolution and it will go platinum and K-fed should just receive it right away. Look how that went. Crap like this makes me not care about anything WWE has to offer. I have the K-Fed album.....

Seconded. Lillian's voice makes mayonaise grow hair. Oh, and of course: The WWE logo doesn't help her cause either. I never even noticed that logo. It almost seems like everything that happens inside the WWE, whether it be movies, music, the WWE is in their own little world. They don't seem to exist anywhere else because you never see any promotion for any of their products. Nobody except for the wwe fans knows what goes on and they don't buy every little thing WWE presents. I still can't believe that after WWE tried to promote her album, mentioning it every week for a few weeks and segments with Jillian that was supposed to promote it, the album flopped. I don't think I would look to WWE to support my movie/music career and have their logo on it. I just don't trust them.

I'm sure this is also being sold at live events, which sales aren't counted by SoundScan...so who knows, maybe it sold better there.
But like I said before, no one outside of the WWE fan base knows who she is, and most fans won't buy a Spanish language album. Kind of a lose-lose situation for Garcia.

I wonder if they will make a storyline about the bomb.
