Personally I think its a stupid finisher. Finishers for top guys are always easy to pull off anywhere, quickly and easily.
Stunner, Pedigree, Rock Bottom, FU, ChokeSlam etc etc
I think its time he got a standing quick finisher.

I don't think Kennedy wins enough to really worry about it.

He should switch to the overdrive or backcracker.

Kennedy was the opponent for both Lashley and Cena when they were injured. I'm surprised his finisher isn't a European uppercut given hsi record. Record? He was in the ring when they both injured themselves thats his record. Even at that lashley was already injured and the Kennedy thing was kayfabe mate. If you don't like him fair enough but I really don't think he's the walking Botchinator you make out. "The Botchinator"... Now thats a gimmick! I think that was Lita's gimmick.

Considering this revelation, I would like to see Kennedy change his finisher to the Heart Punch. Wait, scratch that, the abdominal stretch. One of the problems I have with wrestling lately is how visually uninteresting the matches are. I'm just not interested in kick, punch, weak finisher. Kennedy has or had one of the more interesting finishers when he did it off the top rope. Now it doesn't look devistating at all. I can't believe someone could be put away by that move.

The move isn't dangerous, and neither is a piledriver. Maybe if you were actually a wrestler and knew how to bump you'd have a legitimate case here, but that move has been around since the early 90s and no one's complained yet.

I'm gonna throw in my two cents here and agree with you. The only time the finnisher looked devastating was in the MITB match. And some of that was the huge difference in size/weight. I just think the move doesn't look very powerful. I'd even go out on a limb and say the way Cena delivers the FU makes it look more impactful than Kennedy's finnisher. And I despise both Cena and the FU.

It wasn't the finisher that hurt Cena, it was a hiptoss. By that logic, the hiptoss should also be a banned WWE move

What if the wrestler moves a little close to HBK during the superkick? Kiss your jaw goodbye. Ditto any big boot.
What about the Swonton(sp?) bomb? If Jeff botched that sucker he'd be a cripple.
In fact - isn't wrestling one big risk after another? That's why they're highly trained so mistakes aren't meant to happen.

I watch pro wrestling for the violence and the promos If they didn't have dangerous head droppy moves then I wouldn't watch (personally) Am I the only one who is seriously worn out on wrestling? I just really can't get into pro-wrestling violence anymore... MMA>Wrestling for me right now
