Somewhat as everyone keeps claiming he was caught with steroids even though his past violation was Painkillers. Now I'm not saying he's not on them or whatever... but he was not caught for them the first time. (possibly the second but they only released names not what for) That's what I think too. He's been in rehab for painkillers, so its entirely possible that he was caught with them again. I dont doubt he also got caught for painkillers....but dont beleive everything you read. I'm not sure what your source is, but even if its the WWE or Masters himself; how much do you think either would like to admit steroid abuse right now.

I don't feel bad for him at all. Its his third time he should have been fired, as much as I like him..

I don't feel bad for Chris Masters.. whatever he did was his own fault but I would be upset if he got released.. I really think he could be a future star of the WWE and they haven't pushed him yet.. lashley killed the whole Masterlock challange and that was really the only thing he had going for him.. he has always been one of my new favorite stars though.. I think of him as Lex Lugger he doesn't really need a gimmick.. like you said the gimmick is his body.. just put him in some good fueds.. that will develop more character.. how many people make someones face explode in their debut match? don't let chris go to tna.. he has wwe superstar potential and that's where he needs to stay..

Maybe if the only way he can succeed in professional wrestling is take steroids, he isn't in the right line of work. Well there goes 80% of people in wrestling.

For taking steroids, knowing he's gonna get suspended? The same guy that the Undertaker had stomp a mudhole in because he forgot he was actually in a wrestling match?
Not at all.

Absolutely,he did the only thing he could do to get to the WWE at such a young age and experience level and get pushed. He could have stayed deflated and became a better wrestler I suppose, but he just started wrestling a few years ago so how much better in the ring can you expect him to get in a short amount of time? WWE was the one to hire him solely on his look and in 2005, they pushed him to near top of the card as a rookie again, solely on the roided up look.

I don't have any sympathy for him.
Maybe if I was in a better mood, I would, but IMHO he's a degenerate junkie who keeps getting chances and blows them all.
To hell with him.

i have absolutely zero sympathy for him. if he didn't take uncle vinny's muscle sauce in teh first place, he'd have never been saddled with the gimmick in the first place, and wouldn't have to be so roided. i personally enjoy masters' work, but no one's forcing him to take steroids.

Give him a sombrero, a poncho and team him with Super Crazy and Rey Misterio. A couple of promos live from a Tijuana bar will revive his career.

Based on his work after slimming down, I'd say that if he had not taken steroids he would have developed talentwise to the point that he wuld be stuck in some TNA tag team with a perenial stiff like Havok. He'd also be one of those guys that the IWC would say deserves better, but is stuck behind TNA's main eventers because he doesn't have the WWE look that would allow him to leave.
