I have been playing the PS3 version all day, and so far I'm enjoying the hell out of it. 24/7 mode seriously sucks so far, but the sheer number of options is great. Any questions anyone wants answered, shoot. Agreed. It's awful. But the rest of the game is quite ace. GM Mode is pretty cool but the season is crap. Plus you can't have a GM game and a season game going at the same time as they both count as 24/7 mode. But this is made up for with fire.

The damn pesky buttgoblins simply refused to get out of my head... and you can probably guess what the result was. I am such a weak-minded fool. Anyway, I seem to be having some problems with the custom soundtracks. I have a playlist with all my songs on the hard drive, but whenever I select it in the Create-An-Entrance menu it only plays the first song of the playlist. Thus, Johnny Nitro will be stuck with Rock You Like A Hurricane until I manage to figure something out. Sure, I did manage to work around the issue by creating "playlists" that only have one song, but that's really f***ing stupid. Also, am I just a moron or do you have to play 24/7 mode to give your CAW attribute points? At least I didn't find any attribute option in the create mode menus, which quite frankly sucks ass if it's indeed the case. I really don't want to play 24/7 any more than I must, because I already found it a horrible disappointment (and that is a feat because I expected nothing). Case in point, YOUR FATIGUE DOES NOT RECOVER DURING THE WEEKENDS even when there aren't any shows on those days.

Oh yeah, I needed to ask one thing about the controls... how in the blue hell do I manually target another wrestler in triple threats, fatal fourways and so on? The automatic targeting is really bad, and I'd kinda like to be in some control of who I next want to clobber with a steel chair.
Or is this yet another one of THQ's "features" they'll bring back next year as a revolutionary new option?

Dunno if you guys have seen this before or if it's even the right place to put it but: www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3164283 Quatermann: More MGS PSP, More Sonic Games Plus, remember THQ's N64 wrestler No Mercy? It's coming back. By 1UP Staff, 11/09/2007 It's Friday and we're all still reeling from the news that NPD numbers won't be gracing us in the weeks ahead, but as the latest issue of EGM falls into subscriber hands, the Quartermann's able to bring you the latest rumors. And lest we forget, Quartermann was right on the money about Bionic Commando. This month, an old rumor resurfaces in a new form, as BioShock is apparently back on for PlayStation 3. Previously, it'd been speculated that Microsoft tied up 2K Games' aquatic adventure as an exclusive, but there's a change in the tide, as the world rapture may be Cell-enabled in 2008, after all. And while Metal Gear fans are pouting over the most recent Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots delay, Kojima Productions hasn't been snoozing about taking the series in other directions. While everyone else is taking their franchises to Nintendo DS, Metal Gear is sticking to PSP, with a brand-new (that's not a spin-off) game headed to the portable, this time taking Snake back to the early days of his career. We'll leave you with two last tidbits. One, THQ's WWF: No Mercy for the Nintendo 64 is coming back via the WiiWare service with completely updated rosters. Two, the lackluster performance of Sonic the Hedgehog hasn't deterred Sega; they're already hard at work at another "real" Sonic game. 2D, please! See you next month, and make sure to check out the latest issue of EGM's special holiday "Games Overload" issue, landing in the hands of subscribers any day now. __________________ Hopefully I should be getting 08 on sunday. (That's my game and come sunday....)

QUESTION:
Are there still only 30 CAW spots? I believe I already know the disappointing answer to the question, but I'm hopeful.
More than 30?

I have a question..
In the ECW Extreme Rules Match..do you unlimited tables (As in..do they keep coming back)?
If so..how many can you have going at one time?
My guess is "yes" and "two".
Thought I'd ask anyway.

THQ's WWF: No Mercy for the Nintendo 64 is coming back via the WiiWare service with completely updated rosters. If this is true and the game will be available in Europe as well... HOLY F***ING S*** YES
!!!As for the Extreme Rules tables, yes (they come back) and two (I think). You can also get a ladder.

I hope so. I'm pretty sure they'll be updating or replacing every wrestler in No Mercy, so that would mean pretty much the entire roster in the game.
Is it sad that I am more excited about an old N64 game possibly making a comeback than a 360 wrestling game that was released today?

I'm really excited for it aswell and I hope you're right about the roster. It'd be cool to play as some current wwe guys on no mercy without having to download it on the pc.

I wonder if this means they'll update the arenas, too? Maybe they'll take advantage of the technology and use high quality sounds. Ah, it doesn't matter to me. I don't have a Wii, but I still have the original N64 version and an N64.

And as for the No Mercy news, thats great. However, how reliable is that? Isn't that a lot of work to update all the rosters? Do you think that they'd actually do that? It would be quite awesome..then my Wii can do something else aside from collecting dust.

Nice, I'm glad you can get the ladder. I love that. Is the match as fun as it looks? It's a lot of fun, definitely a huge improvement over the regular hardcore matches (which, as anyone who tried the demo can say, aren't any good at all). The only bigger issue I have with the extreme rules match is how the action in the ring stops every time someone goes for a weapon. Still, that's just a couple of seconds so it's not that bad.

Smash Bros comes out in Feb..I guarantee that I will not be letting it collect dust by then.

Cool, there are now Judas Mesias contact lenses available in CAW mode! In other news, I suck ass at making CAW faces. I'm trying to create Sara Del Rey for reasons I can't quite figure out (most of her moves are probably missing anyway and I don't think she can take part in some match types), but this chick sure doesn't look like her at all.

The match is absolutely great.
