He still hasn't blown a save all season. Kinda hard to overrate perfection.
As for the Tigers catching depth, Brandon Inge caught for a few years, but I'm not sure if he could still do it because of his knee problems.
Does anybody know if A.J. Pierzynski is a free agent? With the way he's been talking up the Tigers on Fox, he could be angling for a backup catching role in Motown. It'd be a decent option that would let Avila get more regular rest.

I know many people liked it, but the Jennifer Lopez as Cartman's hand episode was dreadful. Shit, that's one of my favorites. I'm...MITCH CONNOR. Just your run-of-the-mill conman, I've been moving from town to town, scamming people since I was 15. But I'm tired of running. The cyanide pill I took should be taking effect very soon. Looks like the sun is going down. I wonder, will I dream?

1 more win. Maybe tomorrow if CJ remembers that he's our Ace and finds his nuts, we can end this series. Even if he doesn't beat JV tomorrow night, I think you guys are going to be just fine. The lack of timely hitting has seriously disappointed me this series. I'm starting to feel like Texas simply is the better team. Even though it's obvious that he's just out of gas at this point, Alex Avila needs to step up tomorrow. I bought a shirt with his name and number on the back before the Yankees series, and he's done shitty since.

Well, take those unkillables...resign Furcal and Pujols...get Wainwright back in the starting rotation...wash...rinse...repeat. Brewers won't be back here next year without Fielder. St. Louis isn't stupid enough to let Pujols get away, especially with how he's swinging this postseason. He keeps this up through winning the WS, then he'll get his big payday. As far as Fielder? Let's go ahead and take bets on what kind of insane contract that the Chicago Cubs are going to offer him... Carlos Pena hit well enough this year- I think the Cubs need to resign him. Ehhh, I don't know. He only hit .225 this year (I know he's never been a hitting for average guy), while Fielder hit .300. lol, my dad goes, "Hey, do you know if Pujols can play third?" I just go, "Dad, the Tigers aren't signing Albert Pujols. "

Yeah, a 99MPH fastball at the head. What the hell else would happen? And, yeah, original about Tribe playing tomorrow. Let's laugh as the Tigers fade into obscurity as all their players get older less healthy, and as the Indians... well.. I'm not kidding myself, they'll be MUCH above average, but doubtful to go all the way. He goes and sits on the bench. Obscurity, not for a long time. Nobody in our rotation is over the age of 30. Cabrera is still in his twenties. Avila, Jackson, and Boesch are only gonna get better. Delmon is still young (pardon the pun). Martinez, Peralta, Valverde, and Benoit can still deliver.

That was an ENORMOUS out by Alburquerque. We couldn't afford to give up another run.

Pedro throwing Zimmer to the ground was one of my top 3 most mark out moments watching baseball Me too! That was amazing. As for the Bartman thing, I don't blame him. I blame Alex Gonzalez for booting a sure double play.
