Regal's, The Wrestling by Simon Garfield, Pure Dynamite. Also, I remember Lawler's being quite interesting and at times almost tragic and Billy Graham's is worth reading just because it's bonkers.

Aside from Vince and his dad which promoter has been most successful financially? The vast majority of American promoters I can think of (Heyman, Crockett, Cornette, Fritz, Watts, Verne, etcetera) ended up going bust.
The only guys who instantly sprung to mind were Baba- AJPW seemed to be doing fine right up until he died, and whoever it is that runs CMLL.
I'm sure I'm missing someone really obvious who isn't Dixie Carter...

I'd have to say Kurt Angle- great wrestler, can work any style, great on the mic, can have a good match with ANYONE, can be heel or face, can do comedy and serious stuff and can draw money. The only reason he's not featured more on this list so far is he's still an active wrestler...
Also he's in a 2nd rate promotion...
Also he acts like a crazy person....

Vince would have sent out another wrestler to make up for Jeff messing up and provide a proper main event then buried Hardy.
What if Steve Williams didn't get injured in brawl for all?

OK this game may or may not work... but it's worth a go...
Sight the best match the wrestler named in the last post has had since January 1st 2010 then provide the next name.
I guess the best bet is to go for wrestlers who either have lots of really good matches or lots of terrible ones... I'd say the latter will be more entertaining than the former...
First up: Ric Flair

I like Vampiro's Kaientai Tattoo, now all he has to do is get his gut up to size so he'll have space for the "indeed!"

Which matches have really amazed you? not just great MOTY style encounters but stuff that was either way better than you expected or the first time you saw someone who changed the way you thought about wrestling or the first time you saw a great match from a wrestler you previously thought was lousy in the ring.
Mine would be the Invasion RVD vs. Jeff Hardy match, first time I'd seen Van Dam and he instantly became one of my all time faves.
Benoit/Angles from Wrestlemania X7 that I thought would just be a filler match but ended up being a minor classic.
Bam Bam vs. Taz, I'd only seen Bam bam from his early wwf run and thought he was just a fat dude who could do a cartwheel his stuff against Taz showed what a great worker he was.
Also the Michinoku pro 10 man tag match at the Sumo Palace, which blew my mind and made me an instant fan of Dick Togo for being such a badass heel.

Saint is the master but a lot of the World of Sports guys were great at it- Finley, Davey Boy, Rollerball Rocco, Rocky Moran... plus they were fighting guys like Fuji Yamada (Jushin Liger) Sammy Lee (Tiger Mask) and Kwik-kik Lee (Akira Maede)

Who's the best of the current Big Belt holders?
I probably have to go with Punk, he's as good in the ring as anyone else on the list and he's currently in the hottest wrestling angle of the past 10 years.
Thoughts?

Justin Credible used to do this awful moved where his opponent would be sitting by the turnbuckles, he'd grab their legs, they'd grab the 2nd rope and he would then execute the weakest looking powerbomb of all time with his foe falling all of 2 feet to the mat.
