To ask if they are still funny is to insinuate that they once were.

1. P!nk. Really enjoy her music. Hers is the first CD I've purchased in over 10 years that isn't old hair bands, the Doors or country.
2. Taylor Swift. Her songs are catchy and light hearted. Aside from her boyfriend drama I don't mind her.
3. Lady Gaga. I like most of her songs, don't watch her videos so don't see the freak show.
4. Katy Perry. I find most of her stuff tolerable.
5. Ke$ha. I think she has a song I like.. not sure what it is though.
6. Rhianna. Don't like her music and think she's dumber than a box of rocks for taking Chris Brown back, even if just for a little while.

Is Abercrombie even the "cool brand" anymore? I see more kids with Hollister branded clothing that Abercrombie. Abercrombie and Hollister are the same company.. just different store names. Much the same as TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Home Life are the same company. Victoria's Secret, Limited, Express, Bath & Body Works ...all the same company. Hollister / Abercrombie's main competition is American Eagle and H&M (whatever that is)

Yikes... what a threesome. Which player means the most to his team ? I'm thinking that as important as Crosby is, we throw him out of that mix. The Pens can win without him. Tavares is ok. I haven't been amazed and impressed by him this seres.. Oposo is more prominent on the ice. Ovechkin. The Caps live and die by what he's doing and how he performs. This year in particular, he has brought them from last place to a playoff berth. I hate him, but his team needs him to be 'the guy' more than the others.

In Bylsma's defense about TK, he has utterly sucked this year. I don't get the Tanner Glass love. He's a so/so fighter, less than talented offensively but good on the face offs. Vitale is fabulous on face offs and brings a ton of speed and physicality to the game. Who knows what Dan thinks some times..

Definitely don't wanna jinx it.. but 3-0 Pens. Crosby just scored a highlight reel goal. Playing a solid game for now in front of Voukun.

The Pens desperately want to keep both Letang and Malkin. I don't see Kennedy, Morrow, Iginla or Jeffrey being around next year. They may (forget what it's called when you can let go someone who is under contract for a while) drop Paul Martin.
Dupuis will re-sign. Adams will re-sign.
Murray will be gone. Eaton will stay.
Cooke is the one that concerns me. I don't wanna lose him. He's made himself valuable on the ice as more than a troll. He's an invaluable penalty killer.
On the other hand.. if they make another early exit this season, the whole roster may be shaken up. Again, the players will not listen to the coach. Again, the coach doesn't adjust to the game situation.

I wouldn't be surprised if Chris Kreider or JT Miller made the US cut. Would be awesome to see JT Miller make it. My son's coach is the guy who conditions JT in the summer and coached him when he was younger. Going to get the chance to watch him skate this summer and for my kid to meet him and his younger brother Matty.

Hoping that sitting Flower will snap the Pens out of whatever crap hockey this is they're playing. Cannot blame the losses solely on him. He doesn't cause the dumb turnovers or make stupid passes through center ice instead of dumping up the boards. He doesn't take stupid penalties making the team short handed.
Best team money can buy... if they drop out in the first round again, really wonder who will be held accountable ?

amazing.. If the Isles fans are going to point to the penalty taken against Crosby in the overtime game and call it a dive. They also need to look at their own goalie and his embellishment that gave the Isles a 1 goal lead on a PP. They won't though.. and the refs have been way too involved in this game.

Roberto Clemente Mario Lemieux Joe Greene What about Pops ? Lambert ? Totally agree with your three though. If you want to go with homegrown players that would be on our town's Mt. Rushmore.. Joe Montana, Joe Nameth, Johnny Unitas, Honus Wagner

Ok, now that that's over... I prefer game one to any of the other games thus far. I hate losing, and I'd rather not have the drama of overtime. Yikes. eh... I'm glad the Isles have made a series of it though. Strong young team, lot of good role players. Tavares isn't all that he's billed to be yet, but he's still young. And here come the haters (Milbury & Roenick) *eye roll*

They play better without Crosby... just sayin' Didn't Penguins have a bigger losing percentage without Crosby and didn't you say earlier that it was Bylsmas fault? It could also be the Islanders are playing better then they did than game 1 trying to prove they aren't a team just satisfied playing with the Penguins and the rest of the players are at fault slacking off because Crosbys back? Like he scored two goals in game his first game back. Sorry but I'm a fan of a horrible team that is always horribly coached when I see the return of a really shitty player like Belanger who makes offense die on his stick and half asses it making a team worse then Crosby who plays well and gets a bunch of points. Enough with the knee jerk reactions! Edit: I've seen it with the Oilers this season when Taylor Hall missed two games this season with a suspension the Oilers played well those two games without Hall since they all tried harder since their best player was gone and when he returned the Oilers played bad but Hall since they all slacked off relying on Hall Ok, allow me to rephrase by saying they play different when they are without Crosby. They play a tighter defensive game. They back check better. Very similar to the way they played beginning of last season (I think) in front of goalie Brent Johnson. They locked it down, maybe trapped more.. more solid defensively, and Johnson won more, letting fewer goals in than Fleury. When Flower is in there, they don't play as strong defensively because he *can* make all those phenomenal saves. I blame a lot on Bylsma. His choice of starting Despres over Engelland. Him not putting Kunitz back with Malkin / Neal ... they were the most prolific scoring line in the league last year. They lit it up for the one game Neal / Malkin were back together last week while Sid was still out. Instead, they keep Iggy with Malkin / Neal which is great, but then either Iggy or Neal has to play an off wing, neither is strong. Dupuis can play either wing well, makes more sense to put Iggy up with Sid so he can play on a comfortable wing and feast off those passes from Sid. This adjustment to having Sid come back and the Pens struggling is not just this year. They were playing well last season or whenever it was .. he came back, threw off the matrix of the team and they lost.. often. Absolutely nothing about my reaction is knee jerk. I posted on facebook Friday that they would lose with him in the line up. They always tank for a little bit when he first comes back.

I'm glad Orb won for a few reasons.. I love Shug, his trainer and the Claiborne connections. I love that he was born at Claiborne, raised there, trained and raced under their colors. This used to be how it was done in the race horse industry. Now the breed and industry are being ruined by 'cash crop' horses. Fashionable pedigrees that grow quickly and are sold at auctions, most break down before hitting the track.
As for them being related, with horses they go based on the dam and her lines. While all those famous names look good on paper, it's the mare lines that cause them to be related or not. He finished sound and is gearing up for the Preakness. It would be incredible to see a Triple Crown winner, awesome for it to be from the Claiborne folks (same people who stood Secretariat after he retired) and awesome for a home grown baby to do so well and not some million dollar sale baby.
