It's the go-home show to NXT Takeover: In Your House, so what final plans are in store? As ever, forum discussion rules are on the WWE section of the board.
Last week, NXT General Manager William Regal booked Adam Cole vs. Velveteen Dream for the NXT Championship on Sunday at Takeover: In Your House, and agreed with Cole that if Dream loses, he gets no further shots at the title for as long as Cole is champion. However, Regal said the match would take place in a setting that "shines a spotlight on both their talents" - will we find out from Regal tonight what he means by this?
Back in April, Drake Maverick was one of several WWE superstars who was released by the company as part of COVID-19 related cutbacks, but was allowed to stay on to complete the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Championship Tournament he was already booked in. After tonight, a released wrestler could be holding a WWE title... albeit an interim version of one. Maverick takes on El Hijo del Fantasma to determine the interim champion, as Jordan Devlin is still unable to defend the main title. Will Maverick pull off the big shock and keep himself around as a champion, or will Fantasma put an end to Drake's WWE career tonight?
When Candice LeRae joined her husband Johnny Gargano in his evil ways to try and take over NXT, she ended up losing most of her friends, among them Mia Yim. Last week, Yim and her partner Keith Lee made fun of the Garganos' dinner promos, and while Lee will defend the North American Championship against Gargano on Sunday, it's Mia vs. Candice tonight. Candice may want to keep focused tonight, as Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox will also be wanting some payback...
Last week, Chelsea Green got to the biggest stage of her career, as she was the chosen partner of NXT Women's Champion Charlotte Flair, getting the win over Flair's Takeover challengers Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley. And how did Green respond to all this? Following the show last week, Green ended up FIRING her agent Robert Stone. Will Green explain why she's suddenly decided to cut ties with the man who got her where she is?
All this, the final steps towards Takeover... and will we get an NXT Tag Team Title match... tonight from 8/7c on USA in the States and BT Sport in the UK and Ireland!

AEW Dynamite is back at Daily's Place in Jacksonville for another week of Rona-Era action - forum discussion rules are on the AEW section of the board.
There's two title matches this week, and for the first time, the AEW TNT Championship will be defended. Cody declared last week that he will defend the title every week in open challenges, but this week his challenger is known, as Jungle Boy came out on top of a Battle Royal to become the first challenger. Jungle Boy was able to last ten minutes with Chris Jericho in his highest profile match to date, but now he has a chance at the newest prize in AEW, can he make Cody's historic reign a short one?
It appears that Hangman Page and Kenny Omega's relationship is the best it's been while they've been the AEW World Tag Team Champions, and tonight they face their next challenge for the titles, as they defend the belts against the team of Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian, who earned the title shot by defeating former champions SCU last week. The Best Friends wait in the wings as they will challenge for the titles at Fyter Fest "some time in the Summer", but who will Chuck Taylor and Trent end up challenging?
Nyla Rose is still coming to terms with losing the AEW Women's World Title to Hikaru Shida at Double Or Nothing, and her first opponent on her road back to title contention is the returning Big Swole, who hasn't been in action since the pandemic started, owing to her known medical conditions. But Swole is all good to go now, and she faces not only a big monster, but a pissed off one. Will Swole take advantage of Rose's anger?
Last week saw the big debut of the team known as FTR, with Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood coming to confront the Young Bucks, but end up fighting off The Butcher and The Blade. Tonight, Cash and Dax sit down with Tony Schiavone to explain their motivation for arriving at AEW, hoping to contribute to the REVIVAL (see what I did there) of the tag team scene. What do the lads have to say for themselves?
Chris Jericho ended Dynamite last week getting into a major confrontation with none other than Iron Mike Tyson (all stemming from a knockout ten years ago on another wrestling promotion's show), so he'll be stewing as he's in one-on-one action this week against Colt Cabana, who finds himself in an intriguing position as he's attracting interest from The Dark Order. Will Cabana cause a shock by downing "Le Champion", or will Jericho give further heed for Mr. Brodie Lee's lads to go after Boom Boom?
Brian Cage has destroyed everyone in his path since arriving in AEW at Double Or Nothing, and tonight he gets to destroy another poor geek - Cage is scheduled to challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title at Fyter Fest over the summer, will we find out tonight when that show is going to take place?
All this, plus Dr. Britt Baker DMD's continued conspiracy theory aimed at referee Aubrey Edwards, tonight from 8/7c on TNT in the States, TSN in Canada and FITE TV worldwide!

The number has been corrected, it's 2,054,000, as they mistakenly included some markets that showed news coverage of riots instead of SmackDown.

Final number is 2,170,000, with a 0.6 in P18-49. Actually went UP slightly from the overnights.

The WWE Network have launched their free tier, stating that there are 15,000 available titles free to watch. If you don't see a padlock next to the event, it's free to watch.
All recent TV shows are available, as are selected PPVs and Network series. RAW Talk is being relaunched, and that will be free too.
I stopped subscribing during the COVID-19 releases, so this is a decent compromise, even if a lot of the stuff I would watch remains behind the paywall.

Updated the OP with Lee/Gargano and also made it look nicer. Nothing yet for the Tag Titles, or perhaps the sixth slot might go to the secondary women's feud, whatever form that might take. The secondary feud is Mia Yim vs Candice Lerae and that match is taking place on this week's episode of NXT. Can see it leading to Mia, Tegan and Shotzi vs. Candice, Dakota and Raquel in a big ol' six woman tag.

Game Changer Wrestling have announced that they will return to action on June 20th with "The Wrld on GCW Part 2" at White River State Park in Indianapolis. Fans will be requested to wear face masks at the show, and masks will be provided at the door for fans who don't have any. Fans are being asked to respect their fellow fans' space.
For GA, fans are being asked to bring their own chairs so that they can space out in a location of their choice an appropriate distance from other fans. GCW will reduce ringside seating by 50% and stagger the configurement so there is a safe distance in front, at the back and on either side of each group or individual fan. Fans may sit in a small group if tickets were purchased together. Any individual ringside tickets will be spaced out appropriately.
GCW will provide no fewer than 12 hand sanitizer stations on site, and they are working with White River State Park to maintain a working capacity in accordance with local guidelines.
This is very risky, but GCW are looking to make sure they are making this event as safe for fans, talent and crew as they can. Really hope this works out so that other promotions can take note if able to.

WWE RELEASES LEAD WRITER by Mike Johnson @ 10:49 PM on 5/29/2020
WWE Creative team member Chris DeJoseph, who returned to the company in December 2019, was released earlier today by World Wrestling Entertainment. The departure was sudden as DeJoseph was at WWE's TV tapings earlier this week and we are told that he had just received a promotion within the last week or so. Before the promotion, he had been working as a Lead Writer and Producer for Friday Night Smackdown. PWInsider.com sources are told it was not due to any of the current COVID-19-related cutbacks within the company.
DeJoseph had previously worked for World Wrestling Entertainment from 2004 through 2010, eventually landing as Senior Writer/Producer for the company while also appearing on camera as Big Dick Johnson. After leaving WWE, DeJoseph worked with MGM to create the El Rey lucha libre series Lucha Underground and served as the Co-Executive Producer of the series, which ran for four seasons. Before his WWE return, DeJoseph worked as the Senior Story Producer for CBS' Big Brother as well as FOX's Hotel Paradise, among other reality TV properties.
DeJoseph had just started with Major League Wrestling as Co-Executive Producer when he received his WWE job offer, leaving his MLW post after just one month. He and WWE had been in discussions before he began his MLW role.
DeJoseph's departure was first reported by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.
-----------------------
Not sure if any way related to the Jeff Hardy storyline, maybe a reluctance to work on it? Could be anything given Vince though.

Yeah I couldn't come up with a better title to be honest...
*The two semi finals in the Intercontinental Championship Tournament pit Daniel Bryan against Jeff Hardy, and AJ Styles takes on Elias. Who will book their places in the final?
*Sonya Deville has proven she can defeat Mandy Rose, let's see if she can spread it out when she goes one on one with Lacey Evans.
*Tag Team Champions meet on A Moment of Bliss, as Women's Tag Champs Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross welcome SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day.
*How will Braun Strowman prepare for his Universal Title defence against John Morrison and The Miz at Backlash?
All this and more tonight from 8/7c... and hopefully no Charlotte this time... on FOX in the States, Sportsnet 360 in Canada, BT Sport in the UK and Ireland, and FOX 8 in Australia!
Then it's 205 Live at 10/9c on the Award Winning WWE Network... where THINGS WILL HAPPEN. Really.
