Well to be fair the NWA was no better. Why is "pet of the month" going to judge a World Title match. At least they were better looking than Liddy

Adventures in Wonderland, the 90s Alice in Wonderland show, is confirmed for the end of the month. Safest bet is the OJ Simpson episode that was made but never aired won't be a part of this. I didn't see THAT coming. And no...as we mentioned discussing Peacock, D+ seems to have little tolerance for crap people by comparison. (If WWE sold to Disney, we'd get disclaimers like we want over on Peacock. But we'd probably be back to CoD days where Benoit stuff is completely gone. And that would be tip of the iceberg, probably.) Disney exec looking at footage of Linda McMahon "Who the f*** did the animatronics on this? You come to us from now on"

One of my all-time favorite standups and SNL castmembers. His book is a great read, too. Or so the Germans would have us believe

Green Lantern doesn't have Nicolas Cage & Sam Elliott riding into battle to "Ghost Riders in the sky"
Nor does it have Peter Fonda as Mephisto
Advantage: Ghost Rider

Theoretical here, but if they could wrest the rights from Warren Beatty, could anyone see a live acted Dick Tracy series done in the style of the 1990 movie as a potential hit? With Jon Hamm as Dick Tracy

MLW's always felt like a really bush league promotion to me and stuff like this doesn't help its perception in my eyes. Woof. I used to occasionally watch MLW on Fire and while I liked it, everything felt, I dunno, non canon with the rest of the wrestling world if that makes sense

High Fidelity. It was fine, but I much prefer Empire Records in the Battle Of Movies That Take Place In Record Stores. Does High Fidelity have Liv Tyler or Rex Manning Day? Advantage: Empire Records

This is a pretty solid list. I would add Starrcade 88. That might be my favorite WCW show ever, though it feels like the last Crockett show. In terms of spectacle, I think almost every show in 1997 and 1998 is an interesting watch. I'd also include Beach Blast 92 but since it was already listed I didn't feel it necessarily. But it's 100% on my list. As for Starrcade 88 it's exactly what you said. I know Turner bought out Crockett in November 88 but to me it's almost like December 88-January 90 is like a proto WCW. I put GAB 89 on my list because it's a great show but if someone where to say WCW really started in 1990 I wouldn't argue the point. In my eyes it was a Turner owned Jim Crockett Promotions up until Sting winning the World Title at GAB 90 then WCW is born

In the tradition of Smallville and Riverdale, they should call the show Townsville. They turn Mojo JoJo into the pretentious whiny narrator

So we have two chess pieces left to be revealed... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}...since we have Cassie, Tommy, Billy and now Eli in the MCU and Kate and America cast...now the waiting game for Iron Lad and Hulkling. I’m assuming after Kang is dealt with we end up with Iron Lad putting the team together. Hell...I wouldn’t be opposed to Kang being the Young Avengers big bad. {Spoiler} I think Kang's been confirmed for the next Ant-Man

Issue 75 has one of my favorite scenes in all Transformer-dom in it - Circuit Breaker pwning Unicron. Optimus can babble on about the Matrix all he wants, I still choose to believe that it was the crazy chick covered in nothing but strips of aluminum foil that saved the day. It also has a brutal yet heroic death for Scorponok
