Dante Martin is a sponge? Does he live in a pineapple under the sea? Or, is he Majin Buu? He's a contraceptive device.

Why does a 10 count feel so weird in AEW lol They were filming in Jacksonville for a long time, being able to count that high is rare in the area.

Snap...tap........or crap. It could be snap, tap and crap, especially if there was Taco Bell involved.

I am so tired of cane shots. What about some Kane shots instead? Hope you like Fireball.

65 cents? I can't even buy one candy bar for 65 cents Tommaso Ciampa still remembers being able to buy two for 65 cents when he was growing up in the 1950s. Ciampa can't go to the Museum of natural history, they'd keep him for the fossil exhibit.

Drew: Who has giant testicles that can fight me? Only the biggest gonads will be allowed! Somebody dressed like Randy Marsh should've hippity-hopped down to the ring on their nutsack.

He got over really quick, kinda like Goldberg. His look, entrance theme and running to the ring and shaking the ropes caught fire right away. It was fun to see him just destroy people. He was one of my favorites after seeing him just a couple times on tv.

Some classic endings with the Cards and Packers the last 10+ years, but seriously, WTF is AJ Green thinking? Maybe he thought he would draw a flag? You can't count on that though, look for the damn ball already.

He may have said that said on a WWE doc but headlining B/C shows at the time WWF business was starting to drop isn't coming close to matching let alone beating his Crockett money ($585,000 a year at the time he left). Yeah, guessing he was either exaggerating or talking about a specific stretch, but I feel like the only way he could have beat some of his top years would maybe be if Dusty was also counting merch or something, an area WWF always beat NWA in and honestly, beat WCW in more often than not. They just had an enormous advantage on that front, so yeah, maybe that tipped the scales. He got a Hasbro action figure, and probably made a shitload of money from that.

Jason Voorhees or Michael Myers. They would fit in with the other people wearing masks that can't talk.

That's what I meant by planning them out better, make sure everyone is in position and knows exactly what is expected of them. If the people expected to make the catch still don't do their jobs, they should be held accountable. It wouldn't completely solve the problem, but should lessen the chances of somebody just going nope and getting out of the way. I get that but again, it also needs to be drilled into them when they start in the PC just like other things. Or even not treat it like it isn’t a big deal like it seems to be right now. I get what you’re saying but it isn’t really an issue to be solved by planning it better, it’s an issue to be solved by the people in the PC doing their jobs. I agree, developmental absolutely needs to drill it into their heads. I was thinking more about the people already on the main roster, in any company.

I think they're overused and usually look obviously staged. Like Jim Ross said, a bunch of people that just stand around waiting for someone to dive on them looks pretty phony. I like to at least try to suspend my disbelief. They should stop using them so often, and plan them out better when they are going to do the spot. I mean, even if you use them less and plan more for them, it doesn’t really solve the issue of when the time comes, everyone decides to move out of the way and let said person fall flat on their face.

I liked it, the common man vignettes were great and he looked like he was having fun out there. We didn't get cable until 1988, so I really didn't see his serious side beforehand.

It reminds me of an entire match of "he's having fun, maggle!" Just 10000x too corny for me. Speaking of Corny... I hope that match didn't make him stroke out.

This is corny as f***, even by pro wrestling standards It's really killing the business. That was pretty damn corny too, but 80's WWF was practically a cartoon all around.
