Ohtani might need to viciously gamble again because his powers look gone right now... Let me know when the doctors fix your eyes.

TK was not exactly willing to have AEW talents lose from what I heard. his rules of booking Riho in Stardom upset Rossy, the Elite trying to poach Mayu etc all led to Rossy taking issue but tried to play ball but it fell through. (Notably trying to get Stratlander fior a show)TK’s tweets are total asshattery and a reason I doubt Rossy’s promotion would engage with AEW.

That was a headache-inducing loss by the Celtics, but it wasn't their first of the season. They've had several frustrating losses this season - losing in overtime to the Hornets, getting whomped by the Magic on the day after Thanksgiving, the Saturday night shellacking at the hands of the Clippers, losing to an undermanned Lakers team, and blowing big leads to the Cavaliers and now the Hawks. That said, they're still on a 65-win pace and have such a considerable lead in the Eastern Conference that they can use to work out the kinks over the final three weeks of the regular season. The Finals loss to GS was pretty much to be expected, but the loss to the Heat gives me pause. They need to win the East in emphatic fashion, lest they become the new Sixers. This will sound stupid, and it likely is, but there is something about Tatum and Brown where it just seems when it gets crowded around the basket, they are prone to just bailing or turn it over or something goes wrong.

If the stories that are coming out are to believed, it’s sounding like Ippei was a total fraud and dude was too much of a scumbag for it to not end in disaster. Did the Angels do a background check on this guy? How much of a coincidence is it that all of this went down the second Ohtani went to a different team? It goes beyond that. Nippon Ham Fighters also employed him and didn’t check his background or they did and didn’t care. He’s apparently been living off of fraud to get to this point, and if true, it’s actually kinda impressive. I have my take on this but as Dodgers homer I am just leaving I am refraining because I kinda have to disqualify myself from the conversation.

It’s up there I say simply because of how many big names it could effect, but it’s a little less dramatic because I think people have sensed frustration between him and Bushiroad for a bit so it’s not totally shocking. It’s definitely interesting because it will kinda tell who outside of Stardom had issues with him specifically or not. The hangup for me would be we really don’t know how viable the financial backing he has is, but I kinda suspect something substantial is there, because he got some fairly important names to go with him (Giulia temporarily, an ace in Utami, potential future ace in Yuzuki, someone influential like Nanae likely, etc and whoever splits later) and it’s hard to imagine they’d all just vamoose without some idea of stability. So he could potentially make something with not only a mix of former Stardom talent, but a good pay day for top freelancers and other promotion’s stars who are free to wrestle elsewhere which I think would be fun. I think the type of venues he announces (probably in the next month) would give an idea of that. Is VENY still freelance? I was under the impression she was one of the big freelancer names for a while, she seems to pop up wherever. Yeah she’s freelance. For joshi promotions Sead is probably her most closely associated with Sendai and Wave close behind. Otherwise she really pops up in any promotion not named Stardom lol. She has been wanting to do shows in America but has been having visa issues.

Since Sonny appears to be joining the Rossy fed that should give you an idea of their level of English output. Maybe Stardom fans will get faster uploads now lol Gotta ask, you're one of the biggest joshi followers on the forum. Rossy's forming his own fed and his acrimonious split from Stardom, obviously it remains to be seen how big of a player Rossy will be, but does this rank high on joshi promotion breakups? I know these happen often, like Emi Sakura has been part of like 2-3 of these on her own, for example. Semifinals are
Hanan vs. Ruaka AZM vs. Ami Sohrei
I imagine Hanan and AZM but a surprise contender would be interesting.

Chargers are trading WR Keenan Allen to the Bears for a fourth-round pick, per Schefter. A lot of weapons for Caleb Williams... because it sure don't feel like this is for Fields lol Kinda also means the Chargers might need to look for a receiver or someone like Bowers with their pick this year instead of OL help they need. Herbert doesn’t exactly have a murderer’s row to throw to.

Killers is a masterpiece imo and my favorite movie of the past many years so I wanted it to walk away with something, but aside from the reasons mentioned the ending is a straight up condemnation of Hollywood’s complicity (including the movie itself) in erasure of genocide so I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Academy not exactly thrilled with it lol.
