Absolutely ghastly. f*** transphobes of any and every kind. f*** transphobia of any and every action.\
The whole thing is just so vile with the deliberate use of male pronouns too. Cruel and time-wasting, and you just know every accusation is a confession with the types who would support such a ban.

He just main evented Dynamite two weeks ago, in a match for the World Title You picked a bad time to stop watching I guess lol Maybe it will happen again if/when I check out AEW again. And maybe as a longer program, like if TK re-ran the Sting retirement playbook, but have Dustin put on the line his goal for becoming world champion. He seemed positive in this interview that he'll be wrestling for a while yet. Man, you missed an amazing two promos from Dustin and Joe: https://www.instagram.com/p/C5cqZ1qu1M8 https://www.instagram.com/p/C5ctjYiObv2

I think at some point Danielson should have had the title - he had a bigger peak the Punk, was a bigger star than Punk in WWE and means more to the target demo and casuals for longer than Punk if only for being around for longer so sliding him into that feud with Hangman instead would have accomplished more - and I think the only reason he hasn't had it is because he non-kayfabe doesn't want it.
He's someone who just knows how to click with any crowd, we've seen him become the biggest star in every promotion he's been in the last 20 years, so it wouldn't be out of the question to easily heat himself up to get to that point again and reach that massive star power peak. But, I just think he doesn't want to.
Copeland I think AEW has been great for really showing off more of his talents and making him a more compelling performer than his most recent WWE return run. The build with him has been just what he and the audience needs rather than him being suddenly thrust into the world title picture on some TNA "what's Corner doing in the Impact Zone" shit.

Danielson is literally main eventing on Sunday and Copeland's main event a few weeks back against Christian was the most hyped Dynamite main event in months.

Why the head of legal would let them go to Punks locker room when tempers were clearly so high is anyone’s guess. Like if she said “Absolutely not” when the Bucks said they want to go talk to Punk now then it’s a different world. In hindsight I think this was their only mistake, only because they all went and confronted an injured, bleeding, tired dude who was hopped up on adrenaline and macho bullshit. Of course Punk is af fault for hitting people cause it’s never ok or justified to pull that shit no matter how you’re feeling. But if they all let that shit go for a few days and call a meeting on Dynamite or something to talk about it? AEW would look a whole lot different right now imo. While I can see where you're coming from on this, I think the counterpoint is that something had to be done immediately as Punk's twitter fingers very likely would have continued into later that night. And then when you continue to let it go, who knows how much more he'll think he can get away with and how much more he would say publicly. We all know he's not the type to let things go and he'll run his grudges into the ground. That in mind, approaching him that night with the proper professional structure was the right thing to do.

Not a wrestler but in kayfabe and in the commercials, beloved horror host Elvira created and literally built the WCW Chamber of Horrors.

I've directly messaged/PMed the admin and CC'ed other Mods multiple times about Mods overstepping their boundaries (including Clash) and have been met with radio silence and no action taken. I've even used the "Report Post" when it's gone down with the same result. I get that there's Mod business and rules are that I can't be given a play-by-play which I totally understand, but the forum has a real problem that's driving people away.
There are Mods (including Clash) who said they'd step down if their presence as a Mod was really continuing to make people feel uncomfortable, and who've promised they'd change, but then didn't. It's had a direct effect on the board with making people leave.
If this abuse from Mods is just allowed to continue, especially with posters being vocal about it in the specifically named Ask a Mod thread meant for open and direct communication, wouldn't that potentially put the whole board in jeopardy if the higher-ups at ProBoards ever caught wind of it? That always seemed to be the big question in terms of what is/isn't allowed on the forums and has lead in years past prior to this string of ugliness into a well-moderated healthy forum.
Is the problem a lack of people willing to fill in that spot to be a Mod if a Mod or Mods are de-Modded? If that's the case, I'll be a Mod. I've been here a long time and have the temperament for it.

Beau DeMayo resurfaced on social media and revealed more about episode five {Spoiler}{Spoiler}He wanted the animated series cast to 'grow up' alongside us kids who had no choice when 9/11 happened, the love triangle with Scott/Jean/Maddie is very much the same thing too...if we don't confront what we're becoming now, we will stagnate and be 'left behind' by the future, very much what Trask said at the end of episode 1
So I don't think they'll walk back on this. {Spoiler}This makes what older Jubilee said at the very end of episode 4 about how "living the same adventures over and over isn't what life's about" al the more poignant. She was preparing us without us even knowing.

This episode showed the issue I have with this only being a 10 episode season. X-men inferno which should have been a multi episode arc if not just the overarching arc for the whole season was condensed into 1 episode and now we have jumped to {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}to E is for extinction They should have saved this for the next season IMO. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}I agree, this did feel quite rushed. One moment, Genosha is fine and happy and getting organised with Magneto/Rogue as leaders. The next--gone
I think this should have been a two-parter at least, ideally, the finale. Because I would have liked to have seen a couple of episodes showing Magneto/Rogue running Genosha.
{Spoiler}I mean, that's how this happens in real life. Terrorist attacks completely flip our world around when we feel at our safest. I think having the last four episodes be so pre-9/11 nostalgia friendly to give us the warm and fuzzies of a simpler time, and then having this all happen at once in the middle of the season is a masterstroke of incredibly resonate emotive storytelling.

that's where i'm at, i swear if this is boioioioing sound clips and airhorns i'm gonna snapmare someone. Wait, do y'all think podcasts are morning "zoo crew" radio? Wait, are podcasts morning "zoo crew" radio? None of the ones I listen to are! So, I haven't listened to Trish and Sarah yet, but personally speaking I've been burned A LOT by wrestling podcasts over the last year or so. Ever since the end of the wonderful "Marty and Sarah Love Wrestling" I've been looking for a replacement and nothing's come close. Especially disappointing is when talent I enjoy from hosting other ventures enter the wrestling podcast sphere and I'm excited to check them out and they're just an hour or so of recapping the shows I just watched with "i liked that / i didn't like that" bare bones opinions, or the third generation xeroxed commentary from the other wrestling podcasts they've listened to. Right now I listen to the free Between the Sheets episodes because I like having old Observers and Torches read to me while I'm out for a walk, but so much of it now is the two hosts figuring out new technology and being needlessly pithy. I'm excited to hear Trish and Sarah and I hope it resonates with me as much as the universal acclaim here gives it. (and i know that might read sarcastic, but I want to emphasize I'm being serious. Haven't seen something that universally liked here from the podcast sphere in some time) There's a lot being said in this thread but no one's answering who raised the briefcase at King of the Ring 1999 I know you're joking, but incase anyone might be reading this and curious about how that wrapped up, the Raw after that King of the Ring they subtly showed it was the briefly fired Bossman who raised it. It was WWF being subtle in a way that it absolutely would never be again, so it's understandable why so many historically and currently missed it.

If you haven't seen the Dustin Rhodes & Samoa Joe promos from last Saturday's Collision, go out of your way to watch them. They're both the most recent posts on their respective Instagrams.
It has nothing to do with Punk/Bucks/etc, but they're both absolutely incredible promos and honestly they're so effective that I'm even more excited for that match than the Punk footage.
Just wanted to throw out that two prime promo of the year contenders happened last weekend when a lot of programming and news was going on, and I want everyone to catch them. Easily Dustin's best promo since the end of the Cody feud in 2019 and one of his all time best. And the Joe promo gives erythang you'd want from a Joe promo.

f*** me that was a half hour of non-stop trauma and we heard a cuss word in a kids' show.
Still wrapping my head around it, I think I loved so much of it, but f*** man.

Extreme Rules 2018 -
Braun Strowman throws Kevin Owens FROM THE TOP OF A CAGE TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING THROUGH A TABLE!
A massive, dangerous visual that should have been a part of every Owens video package - hell every WWE "moments" video package - since.
Largely forgotten because the feud was awful, the result of the move was awful (Owens winning the match because technically his feet touched the ground first) and their whole conflict being overshadowed by the port-o-potty blue thing or whatever moment that happened.
Such a f***ing waste.

Also, no disrespect to anyone advocating for it because it does sound like a great listen and I plan to check it out and I do appreciate the recommendation, but who are Trish and Sarah?

none of this would have happened if when colt approached punk to bury the hatchet and just coexist in the workplace, punk didn't say "i will never talk to you again without a lawyer present" because colt went to have lunch with kevin and sami when they were in town for a wwe show. just a minor misconception , the main issue with colt and Punk is mainly because colt hired a lawyer for himself and Punk didn't wanna l Pay after the fact when he promised he would cover all expenses. The lunch just stoked the fire That's not correct. The lunch was what made Punk decide that he wasn't going to cover Colt's expenses. It's the first thing he could latch onto to justify the buyer's remorse in his head and get him off the hook.

American straight men have unwashed bussies and need a brand of flushable wipes marketed specifically toward them. Did you know that in America it's illegal for women to use Dude Wipes?

I haven't watched the press conference yet (just finished the show unspoiled on a two hour delay) but in terms of the outlets' clothing were there almost no suits, barely any collared shirts and mostly people in merch and stained t-shirts again? I get the distain about it but, like...it's WrestleMania. It's not the Academy Awards. As someone who used to do press, the only times I'd wear suits would be being in the press area for awards, but even then I ain't wearing black tie unless I was going to be up front on a red carpet. It ain't about me. Super Bowl, NBA Championship, any major event when you're representing a respectable entity - you wear a suit. AT THE VERY LEAST you wear a Polo shirt. It's about respect for who you're representing and how you want them presented. And, on WWE's end, if you want to be seen as the entity you deserve to be, you enforce that kind of dress code. Royal Rumble's press pit had so many stained stretched out t-shirts - and you never get professional questions from people dressed unprofessionally. It just makes everybody look bad.

No, it was not the right call.
Let's not take away from what an excellent pivot this year was but suggestion it was the plan the whole time.
Cody's huge moment tonight was in spite of the fumble last year, not because of it.
