I used to be as active as anybody on this board, but I started losing interest about 8 years ago and have been a completely lapsed fan for about 7 years, only keeping up with what is going on through lurking this board. I have been watching highlights of WM since there has been so much hype on mainstream media this year, and my god, it is night and day how much more like a real sporting event it feels now that Kevin Dunn and VKM are gone. I am very interested in getting back it now. It feels like things are going the right way now.

I knew Adonis wrestled in WWF a little while after getting his hair cut at WM 3. But I did not recognize him here at all, if it wasn't for the caption, I would have assumed this was someone that Young Verne Gagne faced on the DuMont Network.

I always talk about how my little cat buddy is just like Rocket and how that's what his voice would sound like if he could talk. So... {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}when he is first thrown in the cage and the first lines he speaks, it wrecked me. Every scene, especially meeting the Otter in "heaven". I mean it wasn't tears it was bawling, and I felt like I was embarrassing myself, but couldn't help it. We rescued our cat who was sickly at the time with a huge gash on his head and I still can't think of that part without tearing up, even 12 hours later. So the emotional part was too much for me. But I was still great, even if I know I may never be able to watch it again.

The one that sticks out to me was my 7th grade social science teacher giving a lecture about The Four Horsemen, as in the faction. This was during the time the Horsemen were reforming in 1998. Real life, in 1996, my Algebra teacher gave us an extra credit question on a test that said "Which WCW wrestler joined the NWO last night?" The answer was Sting as this was the day after the debut of the Fake NWO Sting. He was my favorite teacher.

I always remember thinking that Italian Stallion/George South feud must have gone on for years, same with Snuka/Metal Maniac, they talked about those feuds for what seemed like forever.
Reckless Youth I thought was a big enough deal to create-a-wrestler of him in both WWE Raw on PS1.
Another guy I always remember seeing in the rankings but never saw wrestle was called Bodyguard for Hire, I thought that was a cool name, but don't recall seeing a pic of him.
Obviously not obscure but I remember seeing the name Al Snow for years before ever seeing him pop up in WWF.

The first concert my wife and I went to was ZZ Top and we got to be in the pit, so they have a special place in our hearts. The thing that really impressed seeing them that close was how skilled they were as musicians even in their 70s. He will be missed.

Why don't these guys just be Jackass ripoff instead of "wrestling?" Obviously there was no thought given to how they were going to put out the fire if it got out of control, and people that are there just expecting to watch wrestling are put in harms way (including children). What was the finish of this "match" a small package?

Around 1997, my mom had taken me to a small video store that I had never been to and they had a vhs of World Class wrestling from the 80s that I rented. That was the first time I had seen WCCW and the only time I ever saw a tape of theirs around here (Tennessee.) On the way home we picked up a stuffed crust pizza, which was the first time I'd had that, so I've always associated Stuffed crust pizza with World Class.

Didn't he do this same thing with Ernie Hudson for his Ghostbusters review recently? Just looked like he paid for 30 second Cameo message and the advertised it like OMG! Ghostbusters review STARRING ERNIE HUDSON!!! Of all of the internet gaming reviewers that have come and gone over the ages I would have never imagined that Irate Gamer would be be still kicking around in 2020 with little variation in what he was doing so many years ago.

It's still weird to me that based on her size and look she seems to have been tailor-made as a perfect underdog babyface that young kids would get behind, but they spent so much time with her as a heel, notably an authority figure heel.

I just realized that it was Luther Reigns and not Bull Buchanan that said the "I've had peas b'fo!" I think I always get those two confused.

One of the few times I bought a PPV just for one match. I bet I rewatched that one match 20 times on my DVR. It had so much excitement that I thought a new incredible era of wrestling was starting. Sadly, it was just a blip as they botch everything afterwards and sped Punk back right away and had him facing guys the like of Old Man Nash.
Still odd to me that this was Nexus leader-era Punk. The fact that that is what they had Punk doing before this just always escapes me.

He was purely sexy. But real talk, I could see that in his Freebirds days, he probably had some sex appeal. His Dok Hendrix days, not so much. It's weird I still have trouble reconciling Dok Hendrix as Hayes. Its not like he did all that much more than shave and a haircut to look different, but when I see Dok Hendrix I think of it being Rowsdower well before Michael PS Hayes.

I believe NWA did run the Liberty Bowl once and had something like 2,000 people in a 60,000 seat stadium. As popular as wrestling was in Memphis (and I am from Memphis) I'm not sure there was ever a card that could have filled the stadium that big and been worth the investment to pay to use the stadium, especially since it is literally next door to the Coliseum. Maybe, just maybe had Hogan stayed in the AWA a year or so longer, Hogan/Lawler might have been a big enough draw a big enough crowd to justify it, but probably not.
