Guys I dunno maybe this whole conversation is getting kinda bad. Also I'm gonna insult everyone's intelligence. Hey you chicken mcnugget. Hold on there buddy. This is bordering on toxic and there's so much vitriol. I know you love the WWE Mothman (if you ARE a real moth.) but this is a show with naked men slapping each other. You are a fool for not knowing how underwear man 1 would do a scissor kick to thong wearing man 2. Yawn. Get a grip, it's really not that serious.

Some of you really are working yourselves into a shoot.

No, and it's silly to even suggest it because you're mad over something that hasn't been confirmed yet to my knowledge.

Meltzer indicating triple threat not in the cards but Roman fighting twice might be: Unless they pull a WrestleMania X and Cody/Rock has another match earlier in the show, this does nothing but make Roman look like a massive idiot for agreeing to two matches in one show. Easy solution would be to use Aldis, to stick it to Roman.

The thing is.
If they do just go for a Roman Vs Rock only and really screw Cody, then what's then point if Roman goes over again? Not saying Rock should be champion, not at all. But if you're going to put Roman over...
...I don't know, the whole thing just seems a waste and should have been nixed before Smackdown by someone with some balls.

I have no qualms with Roman laying down from Rock, just don't do it for the title.
But yeah the sensible option is for them to either get Roman to wrestle twice (make it a Nick Aldis hates the bloodline moment), and have Cody take the W over Reigns. Otherwise, have Roman beat Rock night 1, then Rock costs Roman night 2. Yes Roman should probably lose clean, but it'll likely be an overbooked mess regardless.

Nothing you listed there would make anyone 'deserving' of hate. It's a wrestling show. A guy stole a job from a deserving candidate and in domino effect will cause at least 1 and maybe upto 3 people get lower payoffs all for his own ego. This is the vitriol I'm on about here and in the other thread. It's a wrestling show with people pretending to hate eachother. It's really not that big of a deal.

Not to be a sour puss, but I'm starting to feel like the vitriol around this whole situation is bordering on toxic.
Yeah I wish the dude stayed home or got involved in a non-match capacity. Hell, he should have gone out on his back after the whole Cena thing. Part of me assumes it's because he regrets effectively having a full time run, lasting only 5-6 years.
As it stands, the discourse is getting a bit nasty in places and it doesn't warrant it. It's a soap opera with musclebound men slapping up against each other.

I think the vitriol around the entire thing is getting a bit silly, truth be told.

You all don't know.
They're clearly going with Rock vs Cody with Roman as special front row seat guest.

I don't doubt there's a small handful of bellends saying awful stuff, and they should be dealt with. However, posts like "These Cody fans are going too far! #WeWantRocky" are slowly taking over timelines, people are using a tiny handful of c***s to use for their agenda and how no one should listen to any Cody fans or wrestling fans in general. Of course, however, this is where you have to tread a fine line between saying let's not go overboard and outright dismissing possible death threats as just saying stuff.

Whoever is going after his daughter are a bunch of f***ing degenerates.
As it is, for me Rock was my guy growing up watching WWF as it was in the late 90s/early 00s. He was the last person I thought would go full Hulk Hogan, but here we are...
Also, it's quite clear this was planned before the Rumble. I don't even get why you'd have Cody win it at that point.

It'll either die down soon or it won't, and they'll change it around a bit.
I do think some people are getting far too invested and upset over this at the moment. I say let it play out, as we don't even know the end game right now. Furthermore, I don't trust Dave "Plan's Change" Meltzer with his explanation of a reshuffling. You don't just take the Rumble winner out of the obvious title match, without good reason.

This is why they should have made it one and done last year when they had the chance.
Swerving and delaying events never turns out well.

Still should have been one and done on this last year.
If there's one thing I hate, it's predicability. And this is pretty much Roman is losing at Mania levels of predictable.
Unless.....

I'll give 'em credit for the final sequence, but that's all. Really? It felt totally rushed and abrupt from where I'm sitting. If I didn't know any better, I swore someone called an audible to wrap it up quickly.
