It didn't work because it involved the unwanted breakup of a beloved tag team.

I have to ask, does the so-called 'casual' wrestling audience even know who guys like Sting and Hogan are anymore? Their heydey was years and years ago.

The Super Mario Bros. movie was like, the archetype for bad video game movies.

It was the Barbara Ann routine at the beginning.

To get into more detail....they don't care about the storyline. Just like they didn't care about the storyline in the Orton/Punk feud. Orton's going to steamroll over Christian because management's not comfortable with anyone but Orton holding the Smackdown belt.

Why keep the belt on Orton period? Because WWE thinks he adds 'star power' to Smackdown's roster, despite doing nothing but killing Smackdown's ratings so far.

Here's a simple idea.
If any of our current tag teams start getting over...wait for it...
We don't break them up at the peak of their popularity.

Should be in jail right now, not headlining a PPV.

btw, why isn't Tunney in the HoF yet? Did they just neglect him or was there some kind of conflict I haven't read about? Most likely some sort of conflict. Like Tunney accidentally wearing a suit color Vince didn't like on his last day at work, resulting in him being banned from being mentioned in any capacity in the WWE for all time.

John Cena's an actor and does not have to apologize for something his character said. There, I said it. On the contrary, I'd like to see this continue; Did Randy donate to VotoLatino after saying on-air that the late Eddie Guerrero was *gasp* in Hell? Did Eric Bischoff get a stern talking to from Sports Legacy Institute after trying to force Ken Anderson to wrestle with a concussion? And who knows how many Christians were offended by Kurt Angle saying he would put Jesus Christ in a submission hold. I mean, seriously, they're characters. Fiction. I don't see Thomas Jane apologizing for "advocating vigilantism" in The Punisher. Yet the double standard of professional wrestling in the "entertainment world" persists: mock it for being "fake" and "phony", while treating every little thing that happens in it as a Very SRS Big Deal. It's not a difficult choice to make: either it's real and they're athletes, or it's fake and they're actors. And if it IS fake, and they ARE actors, why criticize them for things that are honestly less offensive than you'd see any week on Saturday Night Live or about a fourth of the stuff that comes out of Greg House's mouth? I must've missed that episode where Wilson threatened to bead House's chest with his procreative essences.

And it is all thanks to that f***ing cartoon............. If it wasn't for that cartoon essentially making Aquaman lame, DC wouldn't have to try and make Aquaman badass. Thing is, when you compare him to three of the four other members of the Superfriends, he is pretty lame. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are three of the most well conceived superhero concepts of all time. Aquaman is a guy who dresses in orange and green and talks to fish. He's going to suffer in comparison, even on a show where all the heroes come across as fairly goofy. I dunno, Wonder Woman came off as pretty goofy herself, what with her weakness to bondage and her invisible jet that doesn't make *her* invisible.

Diversity doesn't apply to people having different opinions seemingly, in that they are pressured into an apology they don't mean to appease other people at the infringement of their own opinion and rights. Why is it a one way street? Because one side doesn't want to be denigrated, assaulted, or murdered for something they can't help while the other side insists on doing so.
