You'd expect Jericho will be on this card. Do they set up Hook/Jericho II on Dynamite this week and Jericho completes the turn at ppv? Or do they do sonething bit more interesting and different? Yes given how they have been rushing the story recently, Jericho beats Hook for the FTW title and turns heel in the process.
Jericho beating Hook would suck so f***ing much There's just no logic behind it. Hook is over, magically, and giving it to a guy the crowd is absolutely fed up with is the most Jericho brained bullshit possible.

So is Athena a face, heel or just Athena? Theoretically a heel but she kicks so much ass that cheering for her is easy to do. Though she and Shida got doomed having to follow a crowd killing debacle of a Dalton Castle/Johnny Honor match last week.

Do we get Takeshita/Hobbs vs Claudio/Mox at Dynasty possibly

I wish Hobbs wasn't stuck in another lame stable. Takeshita and Hobbs should be winning the tag titles at Dynasty over Top Flight but we can't have nice things so you know whatever. They're less lame when Jericho isn't involved with them.

I don't like Action Andretti much but man these 3 should have won the Trios titles in December. Just a gigantic mistake that they didn't.

Mox on Dynamite this week He was probably appearing anyways but it's funny to think of a poorly reviewed Dynamite leading to Tony pushing the Mox button again

People would probably get mad but I'd honestly rather Mox hold it until Wrestlekingdom and lose it to Shooter after he wins the G1/have Mox go through all the young guys before ending at him.

It took them forever to put the belt on Ibushi and SANADA because they wouldn’t get off their freelancer contracts and become NJPW exclusive. Now, they’ve given the belt to a guy who doesn’t even regularly wrestle in the same country as the company. Whatever. It’s what they get for not doing developing a successor to Okada and bring obsessed with being a “global” brand. I disagree with it taking forever to put on SANADA because that implies he ever deserved it, which he did not. Ibushi, well it definitely took way too long but his win was perfect.

The important parts of the footage are Chris Hero being there and Hook off to the side not giving a shit

4 probably. Opener was fine for keeping the crowd hot but Penta's singles work hasn't really done anything for me in years. Dustin/Joe I enjoyed a good amount and Mariah May's wrestling stuff has been strong still. Everything else was kinda rough. Don't care about the Jericho/Hook stuff, it's just damaging to Hook. The Ospreay promo was there. The footage and Bucks and FTR stuff just flatlined hard, and sucked the air out of the room.
Feels honestly like they are in their worst spot since before World's End and even Joe/Swerve (which is mostly good) isn't as hot as it should be. They really need Dynasty to hit hard and use that momentum quick.

So are they doing Mercedes/Julia or will Willow win at the PPV so Mercedes gets her win back? Willow has got to win, they cannot have her keep coming up short. She's too good and her promo last week proved that.

Toni clubbing her and rubbing her face paint off is the most interesting thing she's done in about a year

And we thought Chris Jericho's feuds dragged - Acclaimed vs BCG just keeps going. They've been feuding on/off for over two years and they've had one good match together (a plunder dumpster match). It's basically AEW thinking it's their E&C/Hardys/Dudleyz thing except they have no chemistry at all

You really still can’t get over that shit already? It really should not bother you that much what my personal thoughts and opinions are about John Cena, especially that era I'm not calling you out specifically or personally, it's literally one example in a list of like a half dozen things I didn't like about a decade of booking off the top of my head, sorry if upsets you but I'm not gonna ignore it if it pertains to a topic for your personal benefit man. The 2012 "worst Cena year ever" run where he still managed to beat Brock in his first match back, ended Laurinatis' run as Raw GM/whatever he counted as, won the Money in the Bank, had a draw with Punk rather than a loss/had 4 separate title shots, and main evented every single PPV besides HIAC (where he was hurt) was basically the absolute dirt worst of Cena booking. That definitely is a creative low point for him.

Honestly have the bucks win The Tag Titles and have Perry beat Strong for the International Title.Lets ride the wave of embrassing CM Punk I think a good way to do this would be to have Perry feud with Copeland which leads to Christian coming back as a face for him being responsible for Perry being like this (in a kayfabe roundabout way) and then doing Copeland/Christian vs the Bucks at All In.

He'd be a far, far better guy to mentor Hook in kayfabe given their styles and the fact that he is a trainer who has trained guys similar to Hook in the past, so there is that. But given the unreal levels of power/leeway Tony gives to Jericho (which genuinely at this point is worse than his Punk obsession), I don't see that happening any time soon. Power and Leeway? More then PUNK? Dude's been in lower card feuds for months now... Punk got his own show where he could apparently decide who could be on it, and paraded a "REAL Championship" around (Along with winning the real one multiple times), I'm gonna draw a line in a a sand at the Jericho hate here, it's not close to what happened with Punk lol That's not what I said at all. What I was saying was at least his favorableness to Punk made sense in theory because Punk sells tickets, he brings some ratings, he sells merch, he was incredibly over, etc so you can see a reason why he would be given what he wants. But Jericho at this point doesn't do any of that (the crowd is openly tired when he appears and he sure as shit has no effect on ticket sales or ratings while he's doing the absolute worst work of anyone on the roster). He's been on TV more this year than anyone besides maybe Swerve (the clear next champ at this point) and essentially is given the right to face whomever he wants/get a match whenever he wants when at this point he has proven he shouldn't have this whatsoever in 2024.

Nobody besides Moxley has been able to escape the Jericho vortex clean in years. Idk what else Shibata can do here outside of being the third man so idk Again I get people are sick of Jericho but the match should be fun, a lot of moving parts.
