I like Randy Ortons poses. No homo, but his body is very impressive and athletic and when he throws his arms up and posed that way, so arrogant, it fits him and looks very good. Also, the thing he does when he stalking his "prey" for the RKO, where he bounces on the mat, is very well done.
& Warrior shaking the ropes!! haha

Im not gonna go the obvious route, but the most exciting thing in wrestling for me currently was the picture of the "staredown" between Edge & Christian

You think? Including Edge & Christian is odd, as Christian is main eventing and is nowhere near what Jannety became.
The Rockers should never be the example as HBK went on to become one of the biggest stars in wrestling, if not the biggest at some point. Same as the Hart Foundation. with Bret.
Bubba Ray, & Billy Gunn would have to reach epic points in their career to match them to those two tag teams. Edge & Christian, Hardy Boyz are both good examples of one outshining the other but all four of them are growing and with growth brings potential for success. I don't think there have ever been a tag-team that is capable of being in the same boat of Rockers, & Hart Foundation because one would have to reach the opus and the other would just metaphorically drown.
Miz & morrison split up less than a month ago, how is either one of their single careers successful since lol? If Miz is successful in a year, then it'd fit more, but the assessment of him now is just far too soon

Its not often remarked upon but it seems to me that "Ric Flair" was a slightly different character during his WWF run from his 80s Four Horsemen incarnation. NWA/ WCW Ric Flair was the "limousine ridin', jet flyin', kiss stealing, wheelin' deelin' son of a gun". He wore shades and expensive suits. He was "slick rick" -- an 80s yuppie with a bit of money who thought he had style and class but, who was in reality, quite a crass and vulgar character. This was a sly comment on 80s yuppiedom, the excesses of the Regan and Thatcher era. When he went "up North", Flair was the slightly more "legendary" figure in the robe who carried "the real World title". Gone were the shades, the suits, the jets, the girls, the rolex watches and so on. I guess WWF had the Million Dollar Man character to represent all that. This Nature Boy was more interested in antagonising faces: first Piper, then Hogan, then Savage. This Flair was allied with Bobby Heenan and Mr. Perfect, who were more about getting down to business and winning things than showing off. Am I making more of this than necessary, was Flair basically the same guy in WWF as he was in NWA/ WCW, or are there real differences there? Also, feel free to comment on the versions of Flair we got after 1993. Of which, I'd say, there are at least 3 different characters, if not four or five. Such is wrestling that unless a guy comes out wearing a shirt and tie and claims he is a tax-man or dons a mask and carries a swag bag, people assume there is no change in the character. I'm quite interested with "soft" gimmick changes. wasn't a big part of his major fued to do with being with Elizibeth, & having pictures of her?

I see it in the same mould, on a smaller scale, as Tazz & Rhyno. A bit wierd, take a bit of getting used to but a few years later it's just there

Ahh Hard Knox Connection is an old school name, I do like it a lot!
They should have Haas return and just start acting tougher than he has, not so goofy, straight & tough, then team them up.
Just teaming them with Haas impersontions still in my head will put me off haha

Yes, Test passed away recently too. It was no-sold by WWE television though. I was expecting a graphic shown on the screen for like 5 seconds. Yeah, they did have the graphic on their site apparently but I think they wanted to, unfortunately, place themselves as far away as possible as drugs were, at first, thought to have been at play. Very sad.

Yeah, but I find things like that idiotic, just for stating the fact they never did when there are tens of people who say that it did. It really grates on me lol, I got a warning for calling someone an idiot for making fun of the kid who died doing the jump off the roof, I don't understand why I got to warning for calling them an idiot for saying it, and they didn't even recieve anything. Odd. The site has lax rules at times. Well enjoy your 2nd warning for calling someone an idiot again. You'd think being on a forum for almost 4 years would make someone remember how not to be a jerk to people but apparently not. lmao, right then.

I'm surprised she called WWE before 911, to be honest. Yeah, exactly what I thought lol, if your husband is lying unconcious you don't call his employer before seeking medical help unless there is something truly fishy going on

Lmao, you said so they mustn't have! Idiot. They did give the notion of the similarities between them, building towards something including the superkick, to them even immitating eachother scrambling on the ropes across the ring. May have not been a fued, but they singled out Morrison as someone a lot like HBK over them few weeks &, in wrestling, you can only assume that's where they were headed. dude you know your not allowed to call fellow posters idiot right? Yeah, but I find things like that idiotic, just for stating the fact they never did when there are tens of people who say that it did. As I said in another thread, I loved early 90s WCW. 2003-04 was a great time to be a UK WWE/Wrestling fan. We had great Raw, great Smackdown, The Wrestling Channel, and WCW Saturday Night from 1990-92 on Thursday evenings at 7pm. I watched it every freaking week, I loved it. Flying Brian was awesome, I enjoyed his feud with Windham but thought Yellow Dog was goofy, even at 11-12 yrs old I loved Stunning Steve Austin and the Dangerous Alliance. Rick Rude heeling it up and Heyman smashing phones on peoples heads (with me thinking-Thats Paul Heyman, bizzare!) was great stuff. Sid squashing jobbers and putting them on stretchers was fun The rare bit of Sting, Luger, Nikita Koloff and Vader footage was also lots of fun. Don';t think I saw much of Flair or Steamboat, but I do think I saw a couple Horsemen/Flair promos. The Freebirds were of course awesome. The Steiner Bros were also awesome. I enjoyed DDP and the Diamond Studd, I remember watching it, surprised at early DDP and thinking "Im sure that Studd is Scott Hall. Strange." I also remember watching OZ and thinknig "...Thats Kevin Nash. WTF?" yet enjoying it all the same. I wish they still aired it on Sky Sports. We'd be up to 1997-98 now, prime Monday Night Wars stuff.....sigh. Ahh was it on sky sports? From your post I see it was obviously years after, gutted I missed that lol, how long ago was it on?

I really want to get interested in older WCW that what I've seen around, specifically the late eighties - 94 era. It seems like I know a lot about the WWE, and what happened after Hogan went to WCW but there is a whole lot of great wrestling I've never witnessed.
I may invest on ebay of some old WCW vids, or anywhere else anyone knows of?

Ted DiBiase managing the Ringmaster. DiBiase character could have been a fantastic heel manager, to the levels of the greatest in the business. Stone Cold had other plans in their partnership lol, Any of the generic manager/bodyguard & wrestler combos annoy me because they generally have no background. As a good manager, Cornette with the NEW midnight express, when he could have managed any of the main roster in WWE
