PWG, easily. It's right down their alley. They could, but do they even want to? If they did get a TV deal, they'd likely have to give up being "the all star show" and build a core roster of "their guys" who aren't under contract to RoH, LU, New Japan, TNA, etc. And I believe they already turned down an iPPV deal.

The only thing I don't get is what is he supposed to do? What does not getting drafted mean? He's fired? It seems like a calculated game, like Steph/Mick/Shane/Daniel all agreed it would be funny to not draft him and watch him lose his mind. It's definitely a turn your brain off storyline because I think it's hilarious. The thing with Heath is that he's the best in this punchable cornball role, I want him to be like this forever but he's probably gonna be cheered everywhere he goes because he's so fun to watch right now. My dream scenario for Heath is that he'd be a walking whining heat magnet who starts getting success by being expertly weaselly and cunning. Not getting drafted means he's on the bench unless one of the brand's authority figures decides to book him in a match.

This is a step backwards. One of the problems with the women's and tag divisions in the past was that Creative couldn't be bothered to book anyone who wasn't in a title feud. The only women/tag teams getting consistent TV time were the champion(s) + whomever they were feuding with. So adding new titles doesn't really help in that regard. Well it's even worse if they don't add them because then you got women and tag teams wrestling for no reason at all, and the alternative of having the tag/womens titles be multibrand sounds sloppy as hell, and having women/tag teams be exclusive to one brand doesn't make any sense either. . There should be more non-title women and tag feuds because it at least gives the appearance of depth. The champions SHOULD be interbrand, with the brands competing for the privilege of having THEIR guy/girl be the champ(s).

Wouldn't the simpler answer to be to have people on either show challenge the champion? I get that we don't want the champs having to do the insane travel schedule that would be involved in appearing on both shows, but there could be ways around that, e.g. the champions appearing on one show one week and the other a week or two later, or giving them the occasional night off so they can have a simpler travel schedule, etc. I don't disagree that would work, it has in the past. You bring up one of the most important parts of the brand split in reducing travel & hopefully reducing injuries. They really need to have titles to promote house shows as well. They have the US and IC Titles. They also have certain acts like John Cena, AJ Styles and even Roman Reigns who could probably draw without a championship.

WWE thinks they're doing something good by "giving everyone something to fight for". The reason why not everyone is getting a chance to compete for a title isn't because there aren't enough belts. It's because WWE constantly feels the need to drag title programs out over 3-4 PPVs. Title feuds can never be one and done, it seems.

Imo this not even really midcard per se, since Rusev had to beat multiple world champions before getting his first US Title, and had a lengthy feud with John Cena. It's just another one of those awkward "too good for Midcard but it's not your turn to be world champ" purgatory feuds that have been clogging up the card since the end of the first brand split. It's not like Reigns is feuding with Heath Slater or Curtis Axel.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Half of them still don't have announced last names. Not even the ones they already had either. I mean, I can understand dropping Tamina's, but: Charlotte Flair Natalya Neidhart Naomi Knight Let's not even get started on how generic the name "Paige" is in England. I know 8. The only name I think is more common here is Laura.... If they call her Naomi Knight, can we pretend that her and Paige are "sisters"?

Any chance he went to the indies and improved his in ring skills ? Jinder isn't homegrown so he's already done time on the indies and this is as good as he's going to get.

I swear people say this about Orton everytime he returns. Everyone will be calling him boring and stale in 6 weeks. Pretty much this. It's Orton, the same guy who's been boring me to death for years... and yeah, he's still boring me now. I kinda feel like her. Yeah, I can't be all that excited yet. Orton is on fire because he just came back and he's feuding with Lesnar, who is a "big" and "important" story by virtue of being Lesnar. But watch when this Lesnar feud is done and Orton is having random non-feuds with assorted upper Midcard heels etc. he's likely to go back to being bored and phoning it in.

Reckon he'll tap to the accolade and that will be the end of his punishment, after SS normal service is resumed. But it'd be cool if I'm wrong, Reigns as a fighting US champ is an interesting thought. I think WWE would rather Roman never be a champion again than "soil his hands" with a Midcard belt. He's not touching gold again until he's a world champ again, or he forms a "super team" and wins the tag titles with another uppercard guy with nothing to do.

You have to take into account that Lashley's the current TNA World Heavyweight Champion. And TNA can't have Bobby going around to every small town Indy that will book him and jobbing to everyone with a pulse; so to minimize this issue, TNA has to try price out some companies, but at the same time, hope that Somewhere out there, there's a money Mark shindy promoter out there with too much cash and not enough sense who WILL pay that $6k.

No. Can't see him carrying a fued. Hell, the Owens feud should be a crazy blood feud and it is pretty dull. Zayn on the mic is ZZZZZ I like Sami, and I know he and Owens are best frenemies, "You and I are destined to do this forever" and all that, but I feel like it's holding Owens back.

I'll be shocked if either of them win 5 more matches during the remainder of their run. I'll also be shocked if either of them get their contracts renewed Yeah. I don't see the Dudleys sticking around. They don't seem like the types who would retire in WWE.
