Julia Hart is awesome, but I want her to lose tonight. She had a good run with the belt, and Willow needs it more. Hart's only 22 she's got brighter days ahead whatever happens tonight.

Schiavone's love of Eddie Kingston makes me happy.

Weirdly enough the face team here is extremely well balanced. Copeland's veteran guile, the wild devil may care style of Mark Briscoe, and the sheer grit of Eddie Kingston. Have to say, recent Copeland and Christian are two of the best I've ever seen in North American wrestling at playing up that they're super experienced vets who know their limits but adapt and work within them. They were trained by old school pros. One of the core tenants of old school wrestling best defined by Dusty Rhodes "don't do shit you don't know how to do." They are living that advice and it's working.

I genuinely think Eddie is the best seller in the business right now. He gets it. If your offense looks good, then win, lose or draw he looks good too.

Eddie gonna show him all the good chopped cheese, pizza and chicken spots And that one Chinese spot that looks like it should never pass a health inspection but always has an A grade and absolutely god tier wontons n shit Those places have the best food for real. That's not even just a New York thing. If a restaurant looks like people have been using it hard, and thoroughly they got some GOOD food there.

This is proof that you don't need 30 minutes to have a classic, and those fast paced matches like that work better if they're shorter.

Different kind of New Yorker. Okada's more of a Wall Street New Yorker. Eddie's more of a "I will stab you, take your shoes and throw them on the telephone lines because I don't like the way you looked at me" New Yorker. There’s definitely a…greater than zero percent chance that Eddie has done exactly that 😂 I mean there's a story that he and Shane Storm had to kick a guy named Jay Phoenix out of the Chikara locker room after he was caught stealing from people's bags. They drove him to the airport and Kingston basically held him at knife point to get him there.

They just say Okada's living in NYC? That's just weird for me to imagine. We need Eddie Kingston teaching Okada how to be a New Yorker like Regal teaching Bobby Eaton to be a proper Englishman. Different kind of New Yorker. Okada's more of a Wall Street New Yorker. Eddie's more of a "I will stab you, take your shoes and throw them on the telephone lines because I don't like the way you looked at me" New Yorker.

AEW's roster is f***ing ridiculous and this match shows exactly how lol PAC always reminds me of that. Because he'll have like, two months' worth of great matches, disappear for five months, and return and there's always someone like Okada to wrestle. If Pac could just stay healthy I'd say put all the f***ing belts on the guy.

Surprised they have JR calling Okada/PAC. Would've expected them to put him and Nigel both out there for Daneielson/Ospreay. JR LOVES Okada. He spent WK9 sleeping until Okada wrestled and he was back in his prime. Maybe we'll get an inkling of that here He certainly sounds more enthusiastic than normal.

Okada really didn't look comfortable swinging the chair in that video package. That's because Lil' Kazu is a sweet boy who has his mommy make his pants. I don't think it came up much as the ace of NJPW.

I think a lot of titles are changing hands tonight Considering there's a title unification bout that just happened, and one of the matches is for a vacant title I'd assume you're correct.

Okada Vs. Pac to open? Should be a fantastic way to start the night.

i don't think AEW has ever had an angle that destroyed every single participant as much as this one all six men are somehow way worse off The big issue was that there was no real question about where this angle was going in the end. It was always going to be title Vs. title. BCG was always going to betray them. And in the end there asn't even any clever subversions. It was just always what we knew it was going to be from top to bottom.
