Why did HBK keep calling Ken Kennedy "Kennedy Kennedy" in his promo last night? Is that his full name?

I like Kennedy a lot, but this fued is doing him no favors. Unless he gets one over on HBK, it was completely meaningless.

Kennedy bores me to tears. How soon before he is wished well? Hmm, wishing firing.... You uh, didn't read the rules, didja? Anyhow, I don't get it. Usually Kennedy is good on the mic, but it seems like they're trying their best to not put him in a position to start getting cheered. They're trying to keep him heel, and it just comes across as awkward and scripted, instead of his natural charisma. |

I think Kennedy has a lot of potential, but it seems like Vince forgot how to build a superstar the right way :
When he came in, he should've (in my opinion) had a feud with with Jeff hardy, in which the two would help one another (Kennedy could help jeff with his mic skills (or lack there-of) and Jeff could help Kennedy with his in-ring ability (not bad, per se, but still not quite "there")) all while trading the IC belt back and forth for 6 months-1 year.
After that, if all went well and Hardy was still as over (no matter how much i personally dislike him), push hardy for a potential title run, while kennedy keeps the IC belt and has a great "Honky-Tony-Man-esque" heel IC title run.
From there, he could help an up-and-coming mid-card face get over, and, within a year, be ready for a World title shot.
But, maybe that's just me.

I don't really care that he called him Kennedy Kennedy. All I know is that this is possibly a Wrestlemania status match. Just cause both of them have egos that makes anyones on the roster look like crap.

i could care less for MR kennedy. I too find him boring. Yes he is ok on the mic. But I have never seen him have a better than avg. match.

Whenever I see him come out to the ring, I usually change the channel, but made an exception on Monday because he was facing Jannetty, otherwise I don't care. I don't hate the guy, just don't care for him either. |

Kennedy has lots of potential. But it's getting to the point where I'd like to see some potential become actual ... um, something?
As of right now he's an average wrestler with a cool finisher that has a catchphrase. He's on the right path, he just needs to keep down it. Right now, it feels like he's sitting on the bench not moving forward or backward.
He needs to get off that bench and move forward. Because the longer he remains "full of potential" the harder it will be for him to actually cash it in.

I see this ending up the same way that Edge/Michaels ended up a few years ago at the Royal Rumble. Edge won via pinfall, but he had the ropes. I see Kennedy taking it on Sunday because HBK got the upper hand this week on Raw. I see it being a cheap win too, just so Kennedy can say "I pinned Shawn Michaels."

I recall that when he first first showed up, that was actually the reason behind his "saying his name twice," was that his "real name" was Kennedy Kennedy, as in Ken is short for Kennedy.
I'm almost sure of it.

I agree 100% Ken Kennedy flat out SUCKS period. Why do people like this clown for? his matches are garbage and he sounds like a retarded high school gym teacher on the mic. He's awful and to think that just because he says his name twice got him popular is beyond me. I'd love for them to boot his ignorant ass out the door.
