According to adverts in Las Vegas, the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out will be a RAW match, and will have Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Jeff Hardy, Mr Kennedy, Umaga and Bobby Lashley in it. I guess that more or less confirms that Triple H is winning the title at the Royal Rumble then, and that Chris Jericho will be nowhere near the main event after Armageddon.

It's, what, two months away? No way this can change!
Jed Shaffer ~Or, you know, Jericho could win the belt.

Perhaps, though the idea of winning the strap at Royal Rumble....doesn't that make Wrestlemania pointless? Though I guess a SD! guy will win the RR then.

Rock won the title at No Way Out 2001, and went on to lose it at WrestleMania 17 a month later. So, not pointless ... just ... hot-shotty. Jed Shaffer ~Still, what needs to be remembered is NWO is two months away.

Either Jericho will win the title at Armaggedon OR win the Royal Rumble, with a possibility of choosing to go to SmackDown! to challenge for the World Heavyweight Title or feud with someone before WrestleMania.

Trips getting the strap, bingo.

The SD main event, last I heard, was meant to be Edge versus Taker, so this would mean Taker winning the Rumble two years in a row.
As for Jericho, it's believed he'll be feuding with JBL next, which might mean he goes to SmackDown.

Now can someone tell me what this EC's winner will be in for? Main event at Mania or something?

He wont win the strap sunday. That's a sure-fire bet. But RR? Sure why not. Though considering Laslhey is returning very soon, I wouldn't be shocked if Jericho was moved to SD! He would be very good at the main event scene as the Tweener compared to the Faces (Taker/Batista) and Heel (Edge).

Considering Jericho just arrived, its a little short to hotshot the belt onto him yet

If Edge wins the strap sunday... Which means, if your report is to be true, Taker wins the strap sunday...and WM for SD! is Taker/Edge: Record vs Belt

Either Jericho will win the title at Armaggedon OR win the Royal Rumble, with a possibility of choosing to go to SmackDown! to challenge for the World Heavyweight Title or feud with someone before WrestleMania. Unless they make it a three-way at the Rumble, Jericho doesn't appear to have a rematch in the works after Armageddon as I don't think he'll win the title. And remember the winner of Hardy/Trips faces the winner of Orton/Jericho. I don't see Y2J facing Trips or Hardy anytime soon.

What I don't get is, wouldn't Trips/Orton be a WM headliner? Trips getting the strap, bingo. HHH - Orton, AGAIN??? HHH winning his 92989434th World Title against Orton who he beat 3 times in a row some time ago? Yeah, that'll put butts in the seats... Orton, Michaels, Hardy, Kennedy, Lashley and the Samoan Jobbing Machine... I could see Hardy going over and facing HHH. HHH turns heel on Hardy, Jericho wins the rumble, faces HHH at Wrestlemania AAAAAAAAAAND here it comes... SAVES US from another lengthy title reign by HHH! The resolution of "SAVE_US" at Wrestlemania, he SAVES US from 30 minutes promos of "I am that damn good, I'm the game, 218928time Champ, I own you all, blah, blah..." THAT is the way it should be done.

Why couldn't Jericho be fighting for or have the title at No Way Out. Given this list of people for the EC, they obviously won't be fighting for the WWE title at that show, so who does that leave - HHH and Jericho.
I could see either Jericho winning the belt Sunday, fighting HHH at the RR to an inconclusive finish and then have a rematch at NWO
or
Orton cheats to defeat Y2J on Sunday, loses to HHH at the Rumble and then HHH fights Jericho at NWO.
Meanwhile, I think it's clear that Taker or Edge wins the Rumble depending on which of them doesn't have the title at that time.
