Well luckily I set my DVR to record 15 minutes after the scheduled time, just in case it overran, which it did, so I got it. I doubt this raw will ever leave the dvr, lol

It was subtle, but I know I saw it. Either that, or I wet myself for no reason at all... It was about as subtle as saying: "HEY HEY HEY! I'M TALKING ABOUT MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE DON'T YOU GET IT HAHAHA!"

Regards to Hogan's snide comment referring to Savage, I think it has something to do with Hogan finally getting wind of that rap CD Savage made like three years ago. In defense of Hulk, it's really, really, really hard to find a copy of that CD these days.

Hogan was too busy trying to get his daughter a record contract of her own and putting together a fake reality show that featured Brian Knobbs wearing Hogan's pre-worn spandex.

Am I the only one that was even slightly moved by what appeared to be honest, genuine humility from Hogan? For the first time in, like, ever?
How could they let Backlund be the first guy out? That guy lasted 100 hours in the Royal Rumble one year, and they make him first out after Gillberg?
Seriously; one of the best RAWs ever.

I want my first post to be in this thread. I just finished watching RAW, and it has been the best I've seen in a long time.

Same here. First post on the forum. I grew up with Hogan and Macho and I thought it was great that Hogan brought up Macho Man. Oh Yeah! I do not know what it is about the man but when Gilberg came out I always break up. I was almost rolling on the floor.

I would like to bring something up....
The Battle Royal...re-watch it if u can...I think Flash Funk messed up and eliminated himself by accident much earlier. When he got eliminated he looked generally pissed and stared at the guy he eliminated, and he stood outside the ring for a WHILE. The King even made a comment along the lines of, "that wasnt suppose to happen".

That Battle Royal was hilarious. Aside from the great cameos from Pete Gas, Backlund, etc., I've never seen so many out-of-shape guys botch backflips over the top rope at one time in my entire life. Seriously, when the first one messed it up, did the others think, "Oh man, I'll show him how it's done!" or something?

My only complaint did HHH really need to be in three segments? I like him, and all , but DAMN!!!!

Great show. The hardy/carlito match was solid, the battle royal was great (I marked SO HARD when the million dollar man's music hit. Brilliant!), The return of the Booger Man, The Goon, and Knuckleball, the return of a few of the classic divas (Sunny and Lita) and a typical ending (sadly, Mick had no mic time). This was a great raw, over-all, and definately made for a fun night. Kudos to Vince and the crew!

Best Raw in a loooonnnggg time. Especially that battle royal, and Sunny got hot again!
The tag title win was cool too I thought. Holly's kind of underrated IMO.

I thought the show was definitely great, imo. I had a small feeling I might be disappointed since I don't even bother taping Raw anymore (work til 10, so I just watch the last 45 minutes or so when I get home) but man... that was definitely a good show and a great "thank you".
You could tell the guys were all happy to be out there and I honestly didn't even miss the lack of Bret Hart, Rock, etc. and I was glad they showed guys like Angle, Booker, Chyna (LOL SHE'S A GUY), NAO, etc. in clips instead of pretending they never worked for the company.

With Marty there, I was hoping the Rockers would reunite to take the tag titles. It would've been better than Holly holding it. Also, when HHH came out with the extra DX gear, I was prepared to mark for Marty becoming an honorary member. Alas, he once again became the Other Guy and didn't even get back in the ring.

I loved it, but I hate to sound like a broken record, but once again the crowd blew big time, and it definitely can't be attributed to them being delivered crap. I was honestly sad to hear no pop for the Million Dollar Man.
I marked out hardest for: Sunny, IRS, Million Dollar Man, RVD, Steve Blackman, and the montage of opening credits.
I think the thing I enjoyed the most though was seeing Lita finally get to leave the ring with dignity.
And Hogan's plug for his show made me laugh, because I knew it was coming, but it seemed sudden and random.
