The most deadly illegal weapon in the world is a woman's purse. Or, if a purse isn't available, a woman's shoe.
Queerin' don't make the world work.
Basketballs don't hold grudges. But they don't want to kick your stinkin' teeth in either.
Chuck Palumbo LOVES motorcycles, John! He feels at home riding them AND working on them!

Rellik is killer spelled backwards. Seriously, pro wrestling has taught me that all major business need competition. I'm not saying this as an "OMG WWE SUKS!!1!) comment, just that two companies really work off of eachother.

I also learned a little American geography and what a mandible was when I was a kid. Also I learnt what a sternum was because Bret Hart used to go into the turnbuckle "sternum first".
And to be the man, you got to beat the man.

Yeah, even still I learn new words from wrestling and cartoons. And my parents said it would rot my brain, it's done the opposite.
And a lot of anatomy as well.

well, from watching some of the more legitimate people, I have actually learned some quick takedowns and submissions (though you have to tweak just a tiny bit to make them hurt)

I learned much about Samoan culture. Or at least the small enclave ruled by the Maivia Tribe.

I learned that the blading one's forehead isn't all that dangerous, but looks freaking horror-show.
...I accidently got to prove this in real life by slamming face first into some jagged ice after F-ing aroung and the looks of sheer terror on my friends faces as they saw my crimson mask.
I however didn't feel a thing.
...on second thought that may not have been a good thing huh?

That you CAN'T learn to fall of a 20 foot ladder ~Kyle I've learned to question people that say they've learned to fall off a 20 foot ladder... "How do you learn to fall off..." You get the idea. Seriously...I wanna know too! J.R. and I are inquiring minds!

Has anyone actually learnt anything useful from wrestling? Jokes to a minimum, please I know a lot more states and which cities are in which states from simply hearing wrestler's hometowns and such than I ever would have otherwise. Now you go. Honestly? Yes. I too have learned a lot more about different cities, states, and locations around the world by hearing wrestlers' hometowns announced. Also, I watched a lot of WWF during 1995-1996 when Vince was doing commentary, so I picked up a lot of words during my childhood that weren't commonly used by people my age. I could give you the definitions of 'profusely' or 'resilient' or 'acumen' faster than the average 6th grader could. I thank you WWF/E for building my vocabulary. I think I have learned more expressions to live by in wrestling, than in any other major pro sport or sporting activity: "To be the man, you gotta beat the man."- Ric Flair "Life's a bitch...and then you marry one."-The Sandman "Everybody's got a price."-Ted DiBiase Those come to mind.

When I was a kid I learned I could beat up my brother and get away with it by telling my mom we were just wrestling. Now, after four years in the Marines, I don't "wrestle" with my brother anymore.

I have learned several new body parts. For instance, the lateral-collateral ligaments, the protruding proboscis, or the breadbasket.

As an 11 year old, I learned a good amount of vocabulary just from listening to the commentary. It sounds stupid, but it was the same thing for me.
