Am I the only one who finds Lance Storm's opinion entirely meaningless? I mean even more meaningless than a Steve Blackman or a Marc Mero? When has this guy fought through the trenches? He got a big push when WWF was red-hot, and he failed. That's very telling. Meh, whatever, some people will treat his words as gospel I'm sure. Opinions are all well and good, but...big push when WWF was red hot? The man was in Japan and doing the Canadian indies, then ECW, then WCW, and only came to WWE after the buyout. Now, in that time, I can not remember one single "big push". An IC title run or tag titles with Regal and Venis? Those are not big pushes, my friend, not by any stretch of the imagination. If you meant WCW, he DID get a monster push, and it was over, or as over as any upper midcard deal got in the company's dying days. Still, the fact that that's not "going through the trenches" kinda shocks the hell out of me. Most guys years on the indy scene and Japan would consider that paying some pretty hefty dues.

I’ve taken Hogan’s punches and he is so absurdly safe I’d let him punch my kids. Quote of the year, no doubt.

Does Lance ever go to the movies? Read any books? Go to nice restaurants with his friends/family? I'm sure none of us do any of these activities, despite watching and posting about wrestling ourselves. It doesn't take that long to make a blog post.

We just figured Lance would be home playing Dance Dance Revolution. And that right there is a visual that I must see before I die!

Quote of the year, no doubt. On a side note, do you guys think that's a compliment or an insult? Compliment, their punches are meant to be as safe as possible. Except for Vader. He's the exception because he's Vader and can do whatever he wants.

Quote of the year, no doubt. On a side note, do you guys think that's a compliment or an insult? I actually think it's kind of an insult. Offense shouldn't be too stiff because people can get hurt, but on the flip side offense can't be too safe because then it looks fake and unconvincing. Hogan never needed convincing offense to get over, which is why I can see why Lance thinks it is too safe looking.

What makes "Sprog" not a typo? I'm definitely missing something. Maybe his wife is pregnant.

Regardless, the remarks aren't too surprising. Lance has always been an IWC smark, even back when he was on the active roster. According to the NEWZ RUMORZ, that might've been why he and Hurricane Helms, who also used to have a pretty active journal/blog, were held down around that time.

I didn't watch RAW, but could it be possible that the "Sprog Flash" was just another JR slip-up that was made on the show?

There is nothing wrong with being safe, so long as you still look somewhat legit. Most moves don't stand up to slow-mo analysis, but if it looks good at first, then who cares? If it looks like you crippled a guy but it barely tickled him, how can that be bad?

Would Storm rather have someone punch him legit for the sake of making it look slightly more real? That's idiotic. It's not like Hogan punches air when he's doing it either. Being safe is (or should be) considered a compliment in wrestling.

Since when being booked as boring is a big push? you don´t like it? You don´t read it. He has all the rights to express his opinion.
