Hi again, new obscure question for us to enjoy
We all know that when bleeding happens in the WWE, it always comes from the forehead, ( sometimes the mouth from 'deep inside' lol ) and never from say, the knee or something. They blade on that part of the head because it heals well and the blood flows better from there, and sweating only makes it look better.
My question is this. Back during the Nintendo 64 days, I clearly remember playing the game and every now and then someone would do a move that would 'bust open' a wrestler - but the move done was NOT to the head at all! Like it was a move done that in no way would bust someone open on the forehead. Like a backdrop, or a kick, etc.
My friends and I would always quickly point that out and start to laugh so hard and claim the match was rigged for the person who got busted open to lose. lol ( we talked tons of crap when 4 of us were playing )
So, my question is has this ever happened in the real world, in the WWE, or in any fed? Like a move was done and the wrestler bladed, but for some strange reason he made a mistake or did not get the cue or something.
I at first could not think of any match that this happened, but upon thinking more carefully, I really do think this has taken place in the WWE at least one time. it's a very vague memory for me though
Remember when Carlito ran into a camera man, and got busted open hardway? Imagine if we did not see him ram the camera, then was shown to be busted open after the guy he was facing did say a backflip.
BONUS CAKE for anyone who can present a YouTube video of this going on!

What do you mean, "did not get the cue"? I think he'd know if he took a move to the head, therefore he should blade his forehead. Just kinda confusing.

I can't say any specific matches, but I remember plenty of times (mainly from WCW) where guys just started mysteriously bleeding from a small cut in their forehead.

I think it was 'Attitude' where guys bled from legs and backs and stuff. Was funny...

how about Luger supposedly botching blading himself in that match with Flair at Great American Bash 88? The match was stopped because of "excessive bleeding" when Luger was hardly bleeding. At least that's the story I always heard

During the Cactus Jack-HHH match at Royal Rumble 2000, Hunter cut his leg on something and was bleeding pretty badly from his calf.

I remember Lesnar getting hit by a chair and then seeing his cut come open. I wondered how he did it. It may have actually opened up hardway or it may have been an old cut but it looked really cool.

The mention of video games reminds me of WWF Attitude for the N64 and PSX. A wrestler could visibly bleed from just about any portion of his anatomy in that game.

Three words: "Mass Transit Incident".
Basically, Mass Transit asked New Jack to blade him, which would be a near-fatal mistake.

I'm liking this thread.
I remember watching Trips blade once. They cut away damn quick but the damage was done.

Ludvig Borga (Tony Halme) busted himself open in some squash match against a jobber on RAW or Superstars. Borga was portrayed to be a "Ivan Drago"-like monster, so it seemed pretty strange to see him bleed in a match against some jabroni.
