If this means that there will be a new Edge-based gang on SmackDown!, then I'm happy. Not sure it will though, as there isno mention of the Major Brothers being the fake Edges on the WWE website. There's probably no mention because they want people to have to get WWE Mobile to find that out. True enough. This new gang would be win/ win as far as I can see. Call it whatever (Team Edge, Rated R Renegades, R Is For A-Rivaderchie, doesn't matter) and mae it a focal point of SD. It makes sense with Edge's heel gimmick, gives the Majors something to do and valuable experience and actually puts something interesting on SD.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Majors get a boost from this, it is actually a pretty clever ending to the match. Edge as champ is always good, hopefully he finally gets a long reign.

Edge with a Four Horsemen team would be great. You know what would be better? The Berserker, Ludvig Borga, and two guys in a random Swedish team gimmick... The Four Norsemen. If this means that there will be a new Edge-based gang on SmackDown!, then I'm happy. Not sure it will though, as there isno mention of the Major Brothers being the fake Edges on the WWE website. Oh, and Barry Windham impersonating Sting owns this angle. No, it doesn't.

I wonder if they'll add one more guy to put under Edge. Either a big man as a bodyguard, or a midcard guy in that "chief of staff" role that Orlando Jordan played under JBL.

Well, that is the usual formula. Upper carder + tag team + midcarder + valet = stable Who would be the midcarder? The valet would be Vickie. Maybe grab Palumbo after he loses Michelle McCool to Jamie Noble.

Just looked through the Smackdown roster and if they were intent on giving an Edge stable a mid carder I'd say the only viable option would be McIntyre. He hasn't appeared for a while so I wouldn't be surprised if he either a: 'has teh heatz' or b: they wanted to distance him from Dave Taylor and get him in this stable. Other than Drew, I'd say Dykstra, but he has had too many losses in the last year and needs to develop some character first.
Edge, Vicki, Drew and The Majors would be a good stable. Drew can compete with Matt Hardy for the US Title after Matt wins it at Mania, and could perhaps have a feud with Finlay in the meantime, while MVP finishes off the angle with Matt. Drew can then get over in a years time by turning on Edge, and it could set up an MVP vs Edge feud in about 6 months as MVP is getting closer to world title contention but Edge plays the paranoid champ role - MVP turns face somehow.
Soooooo many possible good outcomes from stables, I wish they'd do it more.

I don't see a stable forming, I think it'll turn out that Edge & Vickie talked the Majors into helping Edge, in return for a favor, such as a shot at the tag titles. But now that Edge got his title, they'll just toss the Majors aside, or even not reward them for their help, leaving the Majors as faces.

I'm hopeful there will be a faction, because Edge had been wanting to do one on RAW where it would help elevate guys like Cade and Murdoch, but he got turned down. On Smackdown! though, ever since he arrived I've gotten the feeling that it's "his show" now, and I feel they'd probably let him lead a faction. And storyline wise, Edge probably still needs help from those guys. I mean, he's still got a pissed off Undertaker and Batista who will be targeting him, not to mention any other guys who may start gunning for him. It's not just about winning the title, it's about holding onto it by whatever means necessary.
