Well his career is at a crossroads and since he's rumoured to be taking everyone's advice he might as well take ours...
I think there's a lot of things wrong with him you don't notice the first time, but upon reflection you realise how hard it must be to be in the ring with him.
For example looks at Monday's match: First of all, he hits Jeff Hardy so hard you can hear the ref, telling him to 'loosen up', then he almost strangles HBK on the ropes. Oh, and he screwed up the hot tag spot but that's not stiffness, just a general botch.
But then it gets weirder because, and Alvarez pointed this out, he puts his hands up for everyone's offense, ducks his shoulder into chops, he's not great on defense either because he's always trying to protect himself. So, he's a stiff worker who can dish it out but not take it.
From watching his matches I think he's an okay performer, but I'd dislike to be in the ring with him. So, my main advice to him would be lighten up and stop stiffing your opponents, especially when one of them is very well connected politically (HBK)and could make or break your career depending on how he feels.

im sure ill be told im wrong, but seems like the only reason he was ever over at all was because of the way he said his name. the guys pretty run-of-the-mill, when it comes down to it.

I actually agree with you. Besides his decent promos I've never really seen what's so amazing about him and why people cream themselves when he makes his entrance.

Wear a robe over his shoulders and start calling himself "The Masterpiece" Ken Masters.
Oh, wait....no, that'll just invite Street Fighter references...
Forget it, then.
He should just retire.......
.....retire.

I agree about him shutting up, however, some of his fans do believe his justifications.
Over at the forum at ken kennedy.com after suggesting his reasons for having the steroids (lat unjury) were somewhat dubious, I was asked 'do you know how long it takes to recover from a torn lat?'
And when I asked why he was getting a drug that they gave to woman with breast cancer, which he could have no legitimate medical reason for, it was blamed on a crooked doctor. Kennedy told Kerrie (the girl that runs the site) that it was the evil, corrupt doctor who ordered them over the internet. Using Ken's name no less. So, you see, Ken is innocent!
I thought that was funny.
I used to be fan of Kennedy's and I still am, well at least to the point I don't want to see him screw up his career, anymore than he already has.

Kennedy...long time, never see. How you been?
Okay, anyway...man up and shut your mouth. Okay. That's all I got. Cool, yeah...could you sign this? Thanks.

If he would keep his mouth shut, I think things would go alot better for him.

kennedy has fans since a lot of people like fansy catch phrases like 'suck it" or "champ is hear" it getting people to became part of the show. so people like wrestlers who suck but they like to say the cach phrase like kennedy. kenndys fans like to do the "mister kennedy............. kennedy" and then they dont make any more noise for his hole boring match watching him be bad. he is as bad a wrestler as a dumbster.

You know I think part of the reason he has problems in the ring is that he was only in OVW for 6 months. They thought he was great on the mic so they called him up early. They should have given him more time to build up his confidence.
Regarding the mainstream media interviews: Honestly, I don't know what he was thinking. He didn't need brownie points with Vince, his position was secure. Why would you do that if you know there's a good chance your name will come up somewhere?

Add some self-depreciation to your character.
The ultra-cocky-heel is boring without some humour.
