This is something that is optimistic to hear about...but Layla's been training at Jesse Hernandez's school of Hard Knocks. I kind of find it weird that the WWE isn't providing the training, but maybe they did? She's pretty energetic and always REALLY into it when she comes out to the ring...way more than Brooke ever was and even Kelly "Blank Stare" Kelly. Also, with her dancing background she's probably super athletic and obviously flexible...I think she can be a pretty sweet wrestler.  |

Ashley's been training too, doesn't mean anything It's Layla's athleticism that makes me feel better about it though...she's coordinated and flexible. Yeah, she does seem pretty agile in there while Ashley seems to have trouble running without tripping over her feet. Anyone know much about this Hernandez guy? I know he trained Rico Constantino, but that's about all I know. |

I think it's sad when it is newsworthy that a wrestler is learning how to wrestle.
That said, I liked her and always thought there was potential in there. You know, before she started faking a latina accent.

I thought i had noticed a bit of a change in her performances. She does seem willing to do things in the ring and so its good to see she wants to learn. Well done her.

Because learning to wrestle is an actual sin for WWE women.

But you have to commend attempting to make an effort. Torrie Wilson has been there for years and is still horrible.

The thing I've noticed about Layla though, is her personality in the ring. Sometimes, I feel like some of the diva's are like a charactor you create in a smakdown vs raw game, and then you just clone a few more of them and give them a different first name. But Layla, I don't notice the moves, I notice the personality.
For example, she's a heel right now, and for some reason, I truly felt like she was a b**ch with the way she was acting towards Kelly kelly when they were having their match. I go so far as to say that it was instrumental in the crowdpopping loud and chanting "Kelly". I remember thinking "what the hell is she so pissed at kelly for?, It's kelly that should be pissed." Even though I've been watching for close to 20 years now.
Yeah, I think when given a chance, that Layla will be fine. I do feel like that she should just be a manager for now though, untill she gets better.

Ever since she teamed up with Melina she's sort of developed some sort of heelier mannerisms...Maybe Melina's been giving her tips. I def. can see her in a MNM role that Melina played. Heck, throw her with Miz and Morrison...MLM...and eventually have her FEUD with a babyface Melina! That would be awesome. |

I actually think that Torrie has improved a fair amount this year... okay, that's improvement to just bad, rather than unwatchable, but she's certainly gotten better. |
