Smackdown has been bad for a long while. Even back when everyone on here swore that it was the "A show" it was dreadfully boring and basically the exact same show every week.

Are they wrong? Some of their points can be argued, but overall, it's bad TV. Not as bas as ECW. but the two are combined now, so....

Its hard-to-watch moments usually comprise of just trotting guys out we know nothing about. Their skits are rather dull unless it's Teddy Long telling a guy, ..."we'll solve your problem by having you go one on one with...da UN-da-TAY-kah!"
But their main events beat Raw's. On Raw, you take on Orton or you take on Umaga.

I agree that from June-on it was one of the worst shows on TV, but not for the reasons stated. And on that list, RAW should have been placed there.

Never explicitly encouraged.
It's scripted.
Chances are you'd see more violence on CSI.
Yeah.
And Elisha Cuthbert was hired on 24 because of her acting skills right?

Well, at least they're watching enough of it to comment that it's bad. But seriously, Smackdown was the better WWE show from late 2006 up until about May 2007. When everyone started to get injured and when the draft destroyed the roster is when it started to get boring. Not to mention we had to suffer things like Batista's infamous "basketballs" promo and his endless number of title shots. I'm looking forward to 2008 for Smackdown, I think it'll be a good year.

I would agree with it being one of the worst shows on TV, just not for any of the reasons he mentioned.

So am I the only person fine with the 'messages' this guy talks about?
Also, f*** the reviewer for putting Viva Laughlin on the list. It was far more amusing than all the other crap that debuted this year.

This makes me want Brock Lesnar. He was pretty exciting to watch. His explosiveness is part of what is missing from SmackDown! and Paul Heyman behind him.

Not a fan of the reasoning they used to say Smackdown sucks, but I agree with the general premise.

Just remember, whatever SmackDown had in problems according to this guy, TNA iMPACT had at least double the amount. Hell Karen Angle did the workload of both Kristal and Vickie alone.
Seriously, out of all the wrestling shows on TV I think in 2007 alone SmackDown had the least amount of crap for the most part.
