Got my copy today, of course always take with a grain of salt, but here's a quick summary of some of highlights I picked out:
-No new progress to report on Bob Sapp joining WWE full-time. It's believed however, that they're close to finalizing a deal for him to work a couple house shows in Japan. -Lacey Von Erich is apparently gone from FCW. Reports were she wasn't picking up the business fast enough. -A Mexican newspaper is reporting WWE is back in contact with Mistico. -Steve Madison who trains the women in FCW has been fired. -Mysterio and MVP were pushing for WWE to bring in Norman Smiley as either an agent or wrestler.

WWE should have brought in Norman years ago, Smiley and Scotty 2 Hotty would have been an unstoppable combo. The Wiggle and The Worm!

When I read the Observer preview, I knew it would be Norman.
I sometimes wonder why WWE doesn't give him a shot. He's over, is a veteran, and knows how to to work. The thing is, they brought in Dave Taylor, who's much older and seemingly much more limited because he's hardly worked any singles matches. Also, Taylor isn't the least bit over -- at least Norman knows how to work a crowd. Granted, Taylor is barely used and probably on his way out the door, but he's still on the main roster at the moment, and Norman is not.

Dave Taylor the man Second, am I the only one sorta happy that Lacey is gone? I just don't want to hear about another Von Erich tragedy. That being said she probably got released because the 6 months she has been training wasn't enough time for her to make it to the roster to promote the World Class DVD

-Lacey Von Erich is apparently gone from FCW. Reports were she wasn't picking up the business fast enough. She obviously can't compare with superworkers like Torrie and Ashley!

Thanks for posting.
Lacey Von Erich...I was very uncomfortable with her choosing to enter the wrestling business, anyway. Considering all that's happened.

Well, if your entire family consisted of cops, and then one by one they all died from issues relating to their job as police officers, it would be very odd to turn around and say 'hey, I'm going to enter law enforcment'.

Oh, one more thing. If any sites end up saying that the Observer reported that Santino and Carlito will be the tag champs very soon, that isn't accurate. Meltzer had a line how he t€hinks they're awesome should be tag champ asap, so I'm sure that will get twisted around into some newz.

What does Lacey have to do that with though? They all died by being morons except for Jack Jr./Fritz(and I'm a big fan of them). Remember, they all killed themselves(aside from David who just mixed the wrong things).

I'm not saying she would have inherited their problems, but when I found out she signed a contract I was pretty shocked. You'd think the new generation of the Von Erich's would want to stay as far away from wrestling as possible.

Norman Smiley is very versitle. He can be put in an all black stable (which we all love the idea of), a British stable (comes every few years), or a crazy dancing stable.

I think there's a lot of people who follow in their parents footsteps into the military, after their parents had died in Vietnam, etc. Not everyone's decisions are motivated soley by fear (if they were, they wouldn't be cops, wrestlers in the first place).

She's got good genes, and it's a shame they didn't take more time with her.

I think Norman would get over just fine in WWE as a midcard comedy act, the Big Wiggle would get over huge I believe.

Any news on the Benoit family lawsuit against WWE? I'll see and post it a little later if there is, I really wasn't looking for it before and mostly just briefly picked through the news pertaining the WWE roster. I'll check though and get back on that.
