I think this could make for a good "2girls1cup" type of tabla rasa for reaction videos. You know, watching people watch New Jack go off...

New Jack: "To all ya'll fools under Vince witcha nuts on yo forhead, you might as well tuck yo d$#k between your legs and and duct tape it. And run around the house and rub peanut butter on yourself, cuz you ain't a man." That has got to be the most funniest and realest quotes EVER in 2007!!!!! I beg to differ. My fave quote is, "'Oh Chris was a good guy, he was a good man-' SUCK MY DICK!"

Some of what Jack says, like it basically coming across that hitting women is OK, was out of line, but the guy gets points for speaking his mind.
That said, you can't overlook mental issues if they're involved in the Benoit case, period. It's science.
What I DO agree with is the assessment of Benoit being a "coward". If you're sick, it doesn't just up and happen one day, it progresses and grows over time. Seek help. It seems that Benoit was too scared or something to seek the help he needed as his mind was breaking down, and he deserves whatever flack is pinned to him for that.
And there's a lot about Vince that New Jack was right on with. Maybe not all of it, but quite a bit.

The thing that gets me about the Benoit-apologists is how they come up with bizare theories to justify what he did.
For instance the popular story is that Benoit accidently killed Nancy. Knew that he was going to go to jail for life, so he killed Daniel to spare him the pain of growing up with no parents. Then he killed himself.
Even if that was 100% correct. It still makes him a coward and a giant p***y.
Whether he's a cold blooded murderer, psycotic murderer, brian damaged murderer or roid rage murderer. The bottom line is he's still a murderer.

Wow... just wow. My respect for New Jack as an orator has only increased tenfold after watching this, and it was already pretty darned high. Yeah, he uses the F Bomb like I use oxygen, but he uses it CORRECTLY. Lenny Bruce taught us language isn't offensive, it's how it's interpreted by the listener that's offensive, and that's something that shouldn't be judged by a third party...
With that said, I've never been a Chris Benoit apologist since any of this went down. New Jack was on point when he said everything good this man did went out the damn window when he killed his wife and seven year old child. And honestly, the wife thing, I could overlook if it was by itself if it was under different circumstances. Crimes of passion have happened on more than one occasion on this planet, and they'll likely happen again. It doesn't neccesarily mean you're a bad person overall to commit a crime of passion.
This, however, was no crime of passion.
This was a mythodical, plotted out execution of a grown woman, and a retarded child, days apart from one another. Retarded is not being used as a slur, it is being used as an apt modifier. He didn't just kill a child, he killed his child, and he killed his RETARDED child. The level of infamy that creates is unmatched, and nothing even Manson did is on that level. Once again, I'm with New Jack. I'm not a religious man, and I do not believe in the afterlife, but if there is one, Chris Benoit has got a front row ticket to the downside, and eternity wouldn't be enough time to exact the punishment he would deserve.
He had enough time to message his wrestling buddies to feed his dogs in between killings. He had enough sense to lay a BIBLE at the feet of his victims. This is horror-movie level sickness that sure as hell isn't from just taking too many chair shots to the head. There was something profusely screwed up inside his head that goes well beyond the measure of a "good man gone bad". I personally don't care if he cured cancer in the ring, what he did was unforgiveable, and the entire weight of his life and good deeds was negated and destroyed by his actions that weekend.
If you are married, go look at your spouse tonight. Imagine if anyone on this planet abused them and murdered them in that fashion.
If you have children, imagine what your reaction would be if you watched somebody strangle them to death.
Could you call them a good person, regardless of what they had done in their lives after watching that?
Sure as hell not, and that's why New Jack is my hero, because he's got the sense to point it out.

Funny how New Jack talks about the wrong Benoit did yet he tried to kill Vic Grimes a while back. What a hypocrite. Of course if he is with Iron Sheik (another hypocrite) its not shocking. I never bought that he did that on purpose. I think it was just a screwup that he tried to take advantage of to make himself scarier.

Didn't he try to get hired during the Cena was stabbed storyline? Meh. I haven't steeled myself to see the video yet but I have no respect for New Jack. The guy is scum.

The level of infamy that creates is unmatched, and nothing even Manson did is on that level. Maybe I'm nitpicking, and I totally agree with everything else you said, but let's not get carried away here. Manson ordered hits on innocent people in cold blood because he thought it would make him the ruler of the world. That's pretty damn bad, if you ask me.

Evil is evil, but methinks Benoit has a distinct edge over Charlie-Boy in the evil department.

Does that matter now? Do people talk about what a nice guy Hitler was before the holocaust? No. But Hitler sucked in the ring. He did the best promos, but was out of shape and his German suplexes were really sloppy. No wonder he was squashed in that match against "Frankie" Roosevelt and Winnie-Mac Churchill after "The Russian Bear" Joe Stalin turned on him. Wonder what he's up to these days?

[/i] It seems that Benoit was too scared or something to seek the help he needed as his mind was breaking down, and he deserves whatever flack is pinned to him for that.[/quote] I have to disagree on that. Benoit killed his family. For that he is a coward. But you are not a coward if your mind is going and you're scared to get help. Would you want a confirmed diagnosis that you're going insane? It's not as easy or simple as all that, and the longer her left it, I suspect, the more he deteriorated and stopped being rational about it. It's not cowardice to want to cling onto normality. However it is cowardice to kill your family. As for New Jack - I don't think he was necessarily saying hitting women was right, although it'd not surprise me if he did. I think he was more saying, for the love of God, if you have to be that guy, hit your wife, don't murder her. And with the Grimes thing, I don't think he genuinely tried to kill Grimes. I think that was a botch, but he lives his gimmick as a scary guy.

youtube.com/watch?v=yy7zNh5Tpv0New Jack talking about wanting to kill Vic. Now if could be bravado, but who knows. I post this not to nulify what Jack says about Benoit because he speaks mostly what I agree, but to remove the confusion in some peoples minds and Jack's intent towards Grimes.

One thing though: Daniel's gradparents say there was nothing wrong with him, and medical records don't say that there was any illness, so the fragile x thing probably isn't true.
As for whether Benoit was rational or not: a lot of his freinds (Malenko, Jericho) seem to comfort themselves by saying 'he went mad' or 'it wasn't the same person' but like Shazam says, there was a lot of evidence to say he was rational
-he lied to management -he lied to the neighbour -he killed himseld to avoid the consequences.
Had he lived Benoit would have never gotten an insanity or dimished capacity plea, there's too much evidence to indicate he knew exactly what he was doing. In family annihilator cases where the dad murders his family but either doesn't kill himself or fails in his attempt, they always plead insanity and to date this has never worked, because there's too much evidence or rationality or it being planned out.
Who knows? Maybe the Benoit in the last few days of his life was the real Chris Benoit.

I know it was terrible, but the guy was literally insane, his brain completely diminished. It was proven and theres no denying that. So to me thats not the same as some random serial killer who does it to "get off" or whatever...
